Very good sound. 1
Big improvement from different brand I had that did not work without plugging it in/out it constantly & closing browser.

Just what I needed.
Nice little speaker with a decent sound. Volume adjusts high to low and has a mute button too. The speakers on my computer were hard to hear, so I got this to listen to videos, etc. Just plug it into your computer and the sound comes out. No set-up needed. You get an adapter with it to use with a cellphone or laptop. If you are hard of hearing, this speaker turns up loud enough for most to hear it clearly. If this last a while, I would purchase another one. I almost gave it 5 stars, but since I just got it, I feel like I need to use it a while before giving it the best rating right off the bat, but at first use, I really like it.

Pretty great for the price
I use this speaker with my small form factor desktop when I travel. I have Bluetooth speakers and Bluetooth headphones that definitely sound better and cost way more however they're absolutely useless when the battery dies. On top of the relatively small size, the USB interface and USB power all on the same plug makes this a very convenient travel speaker. Cord length has been fine for my needs. For the money, size, and being only USB powered, the sound is pretty good. Your aural experience is going to be nowhere close to a fancy performance hall nor should you expect that degree of performance from what you pay for this speaker and it's small size. Whereas a lot of cheap speakers at this price range sound like just really loud and distorted headphones, I would say this speaker sounds better than most laptop speakers (yeah better laptop speakers exist too but come at significant premium). There are definitely good corded headphones that sound better than this speaker but if you don't like corded headphones for whatever reasons (glasses, don't like things in ear, can't be more than 3' from the computer, ect.) then this speaker is a well priced alternative. The USB-C adapter was a nice included accessory too.The only complaint I have for this speaker is that the "+" button on mine is a little sticky. It doesn't always actuate back up if I press it on a certain corner. Luckily it will still work like it should when it's stuck rather than constant volume increase. This is a small issue as I still have total control of the volume from my sound settings and keyboard. In short, this speaker does what I need it to do and for good price. Though I don't use the included adapter, it definitely adds to the value.

amazing for the size/price
This is a inexpensive speaker that works well. I tried like 5 different ones of this style and price range and kept this one. I am playing God of War on PC right now and the scene where the snake god-creature is talking and has a really raspy heavy voice sounds great despite this little speaker being the only source of audio. Super impressed, and people who are complaining are ignoring the value. I have owned this for a while now and it has been borrowed by my kids off and on and has held up really well. My bookshelf speakers from another brand do sound better, but they are also 8x the price and 10x the size!

Worked well until it took out my computer
After years of working from home while hunched over a 10-year-old laptop, I thought it was time to get a proper desktop computer. I ordered an Acer Predator and a monitor. The new monitor didn't include a webcam or speakers so I ordered those separately. This one seemed to have reasonably good reviews and is attractive. It worked well for about a month. Then it didn't, nor did my webcam. The computer has six USB ports, and four of the six had stopped working. I talked to Microsoft and they couldn't fix the problem. I talked to Acer, twice, and they couldn't fix the problem. Finally, I had to send the Predator to Acer for repairs. After several long weeks hunched over my old laptop, the Predator returned. The packing slip noted that the motherboard was replaced. What! That's a serious repair. I set up the computer and all the USB ports. The finishing touch plugging in the webcam and speaker. Then, just like that, everything plugged into the USB ports died. The keyboard, mouse, webcam, and speaker. I immediately unplugged everything and Acer was called. Eventually we figured out the problem -- it's the speaker! I gave up on using it, and the computer works as it should. My husband took the speaker to work and plugged it into his work computer. His computer warned him that it was creating a power surge. Ahh, so that's what happened. So be aware that if you buy this, you may kill your computer.

Surprising sound quality.
According to the online description in the About this Item section "Our laptop speakers are built with two 3-inch all-magnetic speakers" which is not accurate. Further down on the web page under Product Information it shows the overall dimensions as 9 x 1.57 x 2.52 inches which is accurate, so the speakers are actually 2-inches in diameter.Speakers that small often sound tinny but this set has a surprising dynamic range with plenty of bass for most uses. They can be operated loud enough for my wife to say "turn it down, I'm on the phone!"I like the low profile and they have enough heft to stay in place when reaching over my monitor.I purchased the speakers to use on a computer running Linux Mint but at first I was unable to get them to work. Then I tried installation on a Windows computer which was easy. The device has a button for increasing the volume and another for decreasing the volume plus a Mute button. In addition there is a red LED which like the buttons are not mentioned in the the User Manual. The carton shows the buttons but there is no mention as to their function. The buttons are mentioned on the web page. Some of the difficulty I had installing it on the Linux box stemmed from my misinterpretation as to the function of the LED. Once I discovered the LED is lit when the speakers have been muted with the button and is not a power on indicator I soon got them working with Linux.
