I used this set for a cookout and was very pleased with their durability. The cups feel a little weak but they held up to several refills with no issues. I highly recommend them overall and will be buying more as these are used up. So happy to find a compostable and eco friendly solution to disposable dinnerware!

Very happy with the performance of these at our party last night! Good stuff. I will be composting these in my garden compost bin! So we shall see how they do! Great quality hold shape sturdy, amazing price and love the fact it’s Eco friendly.

We threw a baby shower for my daughter and it was in an outside setting. She is very environmental conscious....so when I found this compostable plate set for quantity of 50 ... I was sooo happy. The items had a good review and so I went with purchasing 2 sets for 100. I was not disappointed!!! I just didn't need the cups cause I already had "smaller" cups. Everything was sturdy, nicely made and cups were nice large size. I would purchase again... and hopefully my daughter loved them too.

This is the best set of eating utensils that I have ever ordered. It is so amazing we want to wash them and not throw them away. They are so durable. I almost want to keep them for myself and not my company.

I like this set, it contained everything needed. The utensils are feel adult sized and were sturdy enough. The spoon felt abit too curved. The plates were oil resistant for the most part. I'd recommend this; its a time saver compared to getting everything separately.

These cornstarch utensils and sugarcane plates have become a huge hit in our household. The kids and adults are amazed at how sturdy and functional these pieces are, and environmentally friendly.They work very well for summery meals, and have held up under barbeque, burgers and all the trimmings.We will be back for these again!

Everything in this set, aside from the straws, we're great! The straws break way too easily and sort of spliner when they break. Other than that, everything else was great quality!

Excellent set of disposable dish set for 50. I love that they are Eco-friendly and compostable. The plates are very sturdy and can hold a lot of weight without bending, also they don't cave in where more liquid food might be concerned, they are very resistant. The natural color is clearly lacking dyes which therefore makes eating off these dishes a healthier option. The cutlery is good and the prongs of the forks are resistant and the knives are able to do some basic cutting. This is an excellent and complete set for any event.

We have tried few different disposable and composable cutlery sets from this brand and we are very impressed.Being a nature and animal lover, I always look for environment-friendly products. We travel and camp a lot and we use lots of disposable products. We have already switched to environment-friendly paper cups and dishes and ditched plastic water bottles and I am glad to find biodegradable and compostable plates and cutlery from this brand. Even their packaging is environment-friendly. Plates are made from paper and it does not have any wax lining. They are pretty heat resistant and does not warp or bend with hot food. Cutlery is made from cornstarch and it is environment-friendly. It should be noted that though cutlery is compostable, it will take lot of time to fully compost it so it is not suitable for backyard composting and city would not allow this in green bins.Though this is totally free from plastics and made from renewable plant sources, there is no compromise on the function. Cutlery is well made, sturdy and strong. It is also safe for hot food.Overall, I am highly impressed with this product. If everybody start using such products, there will be lot less junk in earth which will be great for us as well as our next generation and also cost of such supply will come down.Overall, I would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone who is looking for environment-friendly disposable plates and cutlery.

This is an excellent Mega Family Disposable & Biodegradable Dinnerware Set that comes in a durable flip-top storage box and includes disposable forks, spoons, knifes, stir-sticks, large sized napkins, cups & small and large serving plates. They are all sturdy and work excellent so you can enjoy a good meal on the go, outdoors or anywhere you'd like to enjoy using them. There's plenty to go around!

Everything is eco-friendly as the plates can go in your compost or in your green bin and the cutlery and cups can meet the standards for our municipality's blue box program.First, the dinnerware is really very attractive. All of the items appear to be unbleached which is more eco-friendly in my experience. So everything is a manilla or almond colour.The plates are strong and slightly water resistant so good for meals with sauces and dips. They are really sturdy plates. much like a very popular name brand known for white plates with blue, flowered edges.The cutlery is functional and the knives actually have a little bit of a bite to them. It is not like I would try cutting steak with them, but for BBQ chicken, they did really well.The cups are a great size for soft drinks, mix drinks, water, cider, or beer.The serviettes are restaurant sized and have some good absorbency to them. I wish there were more of them included in the kit. We ran out of them really quickly. During the course of a meal with dessert, most people will generally required more than one serviette.The straws appear to be made out of hallow reeds or grasses. Either is wonderfully biodegradable however, sadly, most of them arrived split. The are also very small so some adults preferred two in their beverages. The split straws were used as stir sticks as you could not drink out of them.The only caution I really will suggest is that you do not use the cups for hot beverages as they tend to lose their integrity, becoming too soft and pliable to be safe to hold by from the sides. The same is true for the utensils.Given how wonderfully eco-friendly this picnicware is, I do find it odd that every group of items is wrapped in a plastic bag. I am hoping that these bags are actually corn based, but I fear not. I had to throw the bags away. Waxed paper wrappings would have been more inline with the product.Otherwise, bring on the BBQ season! Recommended.In the event that experiences change or evolve, updates may be made to this review to address such developments.

We've done away with plastic cutlery and plates years ago, and have switched to more eco-friendly options.This set of compostable dinnerware is by far the most complete. Not only does it come with two sizes of plates (7" and 9"), it also includes 16oz cups, napkins, fork/knife/spoon, and straws! Wow.It's pretty cool to see that each of the included pieces are made using a different type of sustainable material. Wheat, bamboo, sugar cane fiber, and cornstarch.You may need to check with your local municipality if they'll actually accept these in their compost program, but for sure you can recycle at least the plates, napkins, and cups.I always have reservation over using certain cheap types of paper plates, since they aren't sturdy, but these seem to be good enough quality to handle even a messy serving of pasta.There's currently no price in the listing, so I can't say how this set compares to other ones. But I can say that the quality and variety included in this set is unmatched.
