I bought it because is cheaper than the Microsoft brand one and does the trick which is protect the surface pro from damage. I would buy it again if I had to.

Inexpensive method for protecting my tablet.

Purchased for a Surface Pro 4. This is a nice case for anyone needing to hold their Surface comfortably in portrait or landscape orientation. Critically, it features a built-in stand that swivels with the hand strap without getting in the way. This also allows you to prop up the Surface in portrait or landscape mode, though the angle is limited. The other version of this case with the large stand loop may be a better solution when holding the Surface is not necessary for your use-case.My primary concerns regard securing the Type Cover and Surface Pen. The Type Cover works with this case and that is an important feature. However, when not in use it is secured by a single elastic strap on one corner. It works, but it does not inspire confidence. I will need to find my own solution to modify the case for a more secure connection.The Surface Pen may be secured to the back of the case by a small elastic loop just under the hand strap. It holds the pen securely, but it feels like an afterthought. Other similar cases appear to have more secure and prominent pen storage on the side. I think a feature like that or reconfiguring the case design to support the normal magnetic connection built-in to the Surface would be superior to the small elastic loop they currently provide.

Only problem I have with the case is that is has no windows pen holder. Other than that is is a great case for the price. It definitely adds a little more weight to the tablet but it’s worth it for the protection it provides.

Initially would give this product FIVE STARS, I gave it THREE due to the fact that it broke recently due to the plastic and spring that holds the stand up. I purchased this protective case with stand in 2022. It was very easy to put on, lightweight and isn’t bulky. The rotating stand on the back is extremely convenient. Overall I absolutely love it, its functionality and multi use was exactly what I was looking for and needed. I’m disappointed that it broke and didn’t hold up longer. Unfortunately I’m not able to fix it because the plastic itself broke. I have to replace it with a new stand and I’m hesitant to repurchase even though it is exactly what I needed.

But I made it work bc I was tired of sending crap backKeeps it safe tho.

Does not have the space to store the pen.

Really well made protective case for the Surface Pro 7 which I own. Case is well thought out and robust.Cons: The case is very heavy and the on/off and volume buttons difficult to push.Cheers
