This is a wonderful chess set! The design and the execution of that design are excellent. The pieces are tall, and the bases are wide (see below). The pieces were all well packed and nothing was broken during shipping. There were no manufacturing defects. It was very well done!I have a number of chess sets made from wood, metal, ceramic and ivory. I am very pleased to add this set to my collection.Heights-pawns:1.6”-rooks:2.4”-knights:2.5”-bishops:2.8”-Queen:3.5”-King:3.8” Pawn base:1.25”-Rook,Knight,Bishop bases all:1.48”- King and Queen bases:1.74”. Needs a 2” square chess board.The pieces are very light as you would expect from a 3-D printed set. I will attach metal washers to the base for added weight and then attach felt to the bottoms.I look forward to playing many games with this beautiful set.

Beautiful design, hard to find board with large enough squares for king and queen. that said, the pieces are too light. I added a 1" washer and felt to the bottom of each.
