Floor Transition Strip Vinyl Door Threshold Flooring Transition Strip Self Adhesive Carpet Edging Strip for Laminate Doorway Edge Threshold from 2/5" to 3/5" (Gray, 3.3 Ft)

I was reluctant to buy but so happy I did. My main reason for purchasing this was so my Roomba could transition floors easier. It does perfectly. I read the adhesive strip on the back wasn't adequate, but I had no problem with mine. The adhesive strip on the back was as wide as the trrm, which, in my opinion, is the way it should be. Some advice ... it comes rolled. I rolled my the opposite way & let it set. This made the installation easier. Lastly the instructions day to use scissors to cut. I didn't make a perfect cut. I'd use a razor knife if I did it again

I ordered the vinyl threshold strip described as ‘Beige Wood Grain’. The online photo shows a light cream colored vinyl with darker striations but it’s actually a darker yellowish beige color (See photo). Very disappointing that the color is so misrepresented. The strip is 40 inches long and 2 inches wide. The threshold edge of 1/5” to 2/5” is a perfect fit since my vinyl flooring is 1/4 inch lower than the ceramic tile that abuts it. The vinyl material is shaped well and appears durable. I’m returning this item due to the color and didn’t attempt to attach it to the floor so I can’t report on the quality of the adhesive. Beware of this color if you’re looking for light cream.

To be honest I didn't think it was going to work. I needed it to go from my tile to concrete floor. I figured it would not have stuck to the concrete but to my surprise it has stuck very well! I am for sure happy with this product and it was perfect to cover a tile edge. Good transition for a quick fix!

Not sure if this would work for the application I needed it for, which it didn't, but it could work for someone else.

Was not sure of carpet thickness, so got this to be sure I had the thickest reasonable range covered. Worked great. The 7mm was not tall enough (carpet over 7mm). Tried this and bingo !! Also wider than the 7mm, so it really sticks to the floor.

This item could be good in another situation. It was purchased for the threshold from the house to garage 1/2” exterior, 1 1/2” interior. Hardwood floors interior, metal threshold exterior. The product was in a circle when it arrived and was difficult to straighten. More important or disappointing is that the adhesive did not adhere. It popped up, ruled and slipped creating a dangerous situation when moving a wheelchair over the surface. I will search for a better solution.

Exactly as expected. Worked really well!!!

Works just as how it was described, easy to cut and very flexible.I used it for the floor transition due to my foam tiles in my room & original wooden floor of the hallway and it fits just as I imagined. Now my toes don't get tripped whenever I enter my room.Color is similar to the description photos, but imo I think it's a little more yellowish than the ones from description photos.
