Old India Dandelion Root Cut (Coffee/ Tea) 500 g

I buy these dandelion root cut for making a tea. I've read that they are really good for your health, especially for your stomache and livers.The tea arrived quite quick and well packed so thumbs up for that! The quality was really good as I've tried this tea from other suppliers in the past, but this was much better and my health has improved after using it.The taste is quite bitter, you would not want to drink it just for your own pleasure I guess, but if you want to feel better, definetely go for it!

I really enjoyed the product back in March 2024 when I purchased it initially. I’ve almost run out so I purchased again in November 2024. The package photographed is from November and the one in March is in the container, theres a visible difference in colour, very obvious difference smell and unfortunately taste.The product I purchased in March was clearly roasted dandelion root, and is very similar to coffee, but enjoyable. The product I have repurchased in March is nowhere near the same quality, its almost a completely different product. This is highly upsetting as it is no longer good value for money and I’m not sure it presents the same health benefits as the first one.

Great product, very good for you and glad I tried it.Not the company's fault at all, the product is great, but the taste isn't what I thought, very bitter, so I mix it to make my own chai tea, very nice.

Bought this item as I’d searched for ‘roasted Dandelion root coffee’ and this came up. However when it arrived it wasn’t roasted and doesn’t take anything like the dandelion coffee I’ve grown to love drinking.When I’ve looked at the item description it now doesn’t say anything about being roasted. So I’m confused, did I click on the wrong thing or have they changed the description since I purchased? As I’m almost 100% sure I purchased carefully to make sure I got roasted..I’ve tried roasting it myself which is a faff but improves the taste somewhat. But it’s tricky getting the roasting time right and roasting it evenly.Basically not what I searched for/expected and doesn’t really hit the spot sadly.Massive bag to work through now... :-/

Opened in early April and although best before date is 12/09/2026 the roots smelt horrible and are going mouldy.Waste of money as cannot use them
