I got this as a Christmas gift for my 5yr old grandson, he was so excited. The tools are sturdy and a good starter kit to work with a child and teach them what the tools are named, used for and how to do so safely. I would not let a young child play with the tools set without adult supervision, since there is a saw and claw hammer that could cause injury.

Perfect for Home Depot kids project. Tools supplied by HG are OK but are shared and light weight. This set are real tools reduced for kids to handle. Magnetic screw driver tips also helps kids get screws started. 6 year old grandson used them and enjoyed the project.

Bought as a gift. The tools seem sturdy. The belt may be for a slightly older child a little big but still nice.

So we didn't buy this as an age appropriate gift for out 1.5 year old fpr christmas but he loves copying daddy and and we had gotten him a good quality tool belt so got these tools for when he is older. They are good quality
