I was a bit dubious about this case when it came and wondered if having just a solid frame and soft silicone back and front if it would keep my sandwich looking like it was when I made it?Now I am fussy about my sandwich, it has to be cut into pieces in just the shape I like. In the past it has been a battle with plastic wrap and my sandwich looking very unappealing by lunchtime.However despite my qualms with this case my sandwich was perfect and still as appealing by the time I wanted it.The great advantage is that I can dispense with the environmentally unfriendly wrap and just use this case. My sandwich stayed fresh and intact and in the right shape. I don’t tend to eat chunky sandwiches so it is just right for me.I love that you can rinse the case or put it in the dishwasher. I also like the little ring that is a good carrying handle. I didn’t notice any unpleasant odour and it is a great idea to keep my sandwich fresh and eco friendly.

1st used and its ripped. Cannot see anyway on amazon to contact the seller about this as its been over a month since I ordered it. Not happy and such a waste of money!

I like this design of sandwich ‘box’, although it is a little fiddly to use, it is a space saving in a lunchbox. The silicone outer needs to wrap around the contents, which have a hard sleeve to prevent crushing at the edges, but the silicone is flexible and it soon becomes straightforward. Washing is also easy as it all comes apart, but drying could result in little pockets of water if you don’t drape it just right for draining.It will hold deep filled sandwiches as the silicone accommodates extra depth, but the ring may require crusts to be removed from larger slices, particularly of home made bread.
