Great set!
Great set, holds up well. I e used it several times now. Wish they still sold this exact set. The left handed bits also hold up very well if you don’t abuse them.

They just work. Even on perfectly round nuts.
I had to remove a locking lug nut from my vehicle for which I did not have the correct key socket. Basically it's perfectly round on the outside. Not a problem at all for these bad boys. A few taps with a hammer set the socket and initiated the bite, and it just spun off like a regular lug nut in a regular socket. I am very impressed. And the time and money saved on this one tire change, which got me back on the road in the midst of a once in a decade snow storm alone pays for the whole set as far as I'm concerned. I'm just very glad I happened to have them with me.Pro tip: they do come with a knockout pin to help remove nuts/bolts once they're removed, but it's a bit of a pain to use, especially if you don't have a vice handy. Much easier to leave the nut or bolt threaded just a tiny bit in, and use a smooth faced hammer to gently tap on the side of the socket to pop it off and then remove your fastener the rest of the way by hand.(If you're wondering, yes this is a real true story, you can see the offending lug nut and the grooves cut into it by the extractor. Nobody asked me to write this or offered me anything to do so, I am actually just a very satisfied, very impressed customer.) 🤘

Tearing apart a 2000 f150 engine that has lots of rust.
This kit has saved me 5 times so far. Two bolts on the exhaust manifold where one of the studs was two inches long I took a grinder and just cut off the nut because there was nothing there. Then I tried since it was so long and not that rusty underneath the manifold I tried a vice grip which just slipped over and over. So then I got a small pipe wrench and as you know the more you turn the tighter it gets. I turned it slowly and it just broke and it was clean metal. I was thinking I was screwed, but there was about a 1/4 inch left so I pulled this kit out and found a size that was small enough where I took a small hammer and had to hit a few times to get it to stay on. I knew I only had one chance so I wanted to have as much grip as possible. It took it right off...crazy. Then I had two studs on the valve cover that you couldn't tell there was a stud nut on there as well as a stud on the timing cover as well. The trick is to have the extraction socket small enough that you have to tap it on to get through the thread so when you start turning it the cut is in the main part of the bolt and not just stripping the threads.

Great product and quality.
These worked great, helped to remove the erroded nuts but also help to remove the erroded studs. If they can get a bite they will hold as long as the material isn't to rotten. If it fits tight don't be afraid to tap it on more with a hammer to ensure a good grip.

Missing two pieces out of the set kit

Better QC could fix this..
Updated review:I have now had a chance to use these.. I only used the 10mm so far, but it has worked flawlessly.. I uploaded a picture of it. It is kind of hard to see in the picture, but as you can see, there is no wear that is showing on the extractor that was used.. So with that being said, and it now used, and worked great.. I am now going to upgrade my review to 4 stars..Original Review:I will update this review later after I get a better chance to use these to see the quality and how they hold up, but I am putting this down as a 3 stars because of the problems that I have seen, and because I think people need to know these things before they buy the set..I am not saying that this is a good or bad set right now.. But here are some problems that I have found that you need to know about..Not all of the bits or extractors are cleaned up.. The smallest one in the 1/4" drive size.. I tried to put an adapter on it and found that I could only get the adapter to go on to it about half way.. As you can see by the picture, I could not even get it to go down far enough to cover up the ball on the adapter.. The reason for this is.. Just look at the picture and you can see it.. Burs left on the inside of the drive end of the socket, which kept the 1/4" adapter from going on all the way.. If this was just one socket, I could overlook this.. But I saw this on multiple sockets on both, the 1/4" and 3/8" size..I had to take a small screwdriver and break these pieces out of the inside to get them off so I could get the adapter on all the way.. And some of the 3/8" drive sockets, I could not get them all the way off of it with the small screwdriver, but I got enough off of it to use it..Upon looking at the drill bits, I saw burs on the cutting edges of the drill bits too.. Those came off really easily and the cutting edge was still very nice on them, so it is not like the burr caused any harm.. But the thing is.. A few seconds and better QC could have fixed this problem at the factory before these were ever shipped out..After I get some better use out of these, I will update my review to tell the durability of these, but I opted to write this now so if someone else runs into this problem, they know what the problem is and knows to look for it if they get this set.. and no, it did not take my long to get the burs off.. Just a few minutes.. But it is the fact that this should have been taken care of from the factory.. I get tools that are working when I buy new, not tools that I have to fix to get them to work..

Saved my bacon!
This kit has saved my butt 3 times now. I was worried when I bought it that the drill bits would dull quickly, but I used plenty of lube, didn't force the bits and went slow and the bits have lasted. They are quite sharp and cut thru bolts with relative ease. The easy-outs work great too. I haven't broken one yet - which is my greatest fear when removing a stuck screw.Anyway, great set. I would not hesitate to buy it again, but I don't think I'll need to. This should last a long long time.
