Easy to set up, easy to control, easy to fill.We've had the unit for one week, and had it going nonstop. It raised the humidity in our house from mid-20s to 50 in a couple of days. It keeps our home at a comfortable 50% humidity. We love how quiet the unit is, and the water capacity. We love the 4-level mist settings with the fine mist. The Turbo mist setting increases the humidity fast. This humidifier has met all of our expectations

The air in my house gets dry in winter (forced air furnace) and the summer (especially when using the AC). Having a large humidifier helps avoid dry eyes and nasal passages.I am quite pleased with this humidifier for the following reasons:1) Large capacity water tank (4.2 gal)2) Quiet when running3) Set desired humidity level4) Multiple options for humidity output (steady, pulse mode and intensity of mist). I use pulse level 2.5) A green light the illuminates the tank level [see comment below]I have a different large humidifier from the same manufacturer and that model does not have a light inside the tank which makes it difficult to check the water level, especially under low light conditions. This model has a green light that makes it easy to check the water level, day or night.One very minor comment is that the water level window only shows the water level for the top 2/3s of the tank. It's not a big deal and you can see the "actual" level when it drops below the bottom of the window by peering inside - the green light in the tank helps (see picture 3 - water is 1/3 up from the bottom of the narrow window).This unit is tall and cylindrical which uses very little floor space. I recommend keeping it away from areas where people or pets could accidently knock it over.I opted not to use the directional mist tube (picture 1) and use the top mounted directional vent (picture 2). The mist tube to me looks "tacky" and could make it easier to accidently knock the unit over. The tall mist tube has better directional control and the higher ejection of the mist should help with dispersion/evaporation of the mist.Note: Per the instructions, only use distilled or reverse osmosis (RO) water in this (or any) humidifier. Minerals in tap or drinking water will cause build up and may result in damage.

After it broke I advised Lacidoll, the company and they did not want to fix it. Instead they wrote back the following, "Hello. I'm sorry for the defective humidifier. We are sorry to tell you that your order is beyond the one-year warranty. As a result, we are unable to exchange a new product for you directly. Since you are our valued client, we'd like to invite you to join our review campaign to get a humidifier free of charge. The review campaign for our 16L humidifier is below: You can make an order on the Amazon page of our store and send us your order number then. After receiving it and using it for a week, you need to post a review of 5 stars, some words and 3 pictures, then send a screenshot of your review. And provide your PayPal account. We will fully refund the order." I can't believe the dishonesty of this company. They tried to trick me into buying another one while coaxing me into giving them a good review. I will not deal with this firm ever again.

Great product. Pumps water into the air like it's supposed to, very quiet. Only problem I have is..... there should be a float on the water level gage that's easily seen. When you fill this, the water level is very difficult to see, and we've caused a flood twice by accidently over filing it. It might be easier with younger eyes, but myself and my wife have a hard time seeing it. (Yes we turned the inside light on)
