Wilfa Performance Coffee Maker

Huge fan for many reasons: 1) Quality coffee - my friends prefer my Wilfa-made coffee to the coffee shop. So good! 2) Water reservoir - my wife pointed out how nice it is to fill the water reservoir at the sink rather than having to pour water from a separate pot into the reservoir on the coffee maker. This isn't something I would typically notice, but once she pointed it out I realized how convenient it was. 3) Simple to use - you just add water, coffee + filter and push a button. 4) Beautiful - the minimalist design looks great in my kitchen and people are fascinated by how this machine works. 5) Customer Service - I accidently broke my glass carafe during the period of time when Wilfa was not distributing in the United States. I emailed the company and they sent me a brand new replacement carafe right away and didn't ask for money. Amazing!I've had two of these now, the first purchased at Williams-Sonoma for around $400. The pump eventually died after several years (I think 4 years) and by that time Wilfa had broadened their distribution and I was able to get one on Amazon for around $200. Now the price is closer to $300 on Amazon and I can no longer get the stainless steel version that I prefer. I've read that Wilfa made some quality improvements, so maybe that justifies the higher price.From what I am reading I think Wilfa will be introducing some new products and distribution in the United States soon. I was interested in the thermal carafe version, but based on some reviews I read (requires 2 different lids, one for brewing and one for pouring; plus you can't submerge the carafe to clean it) I think the warming plate with the glass carafe is still the better option for me. In the meantime, I am enjoying my Wilfa home-brewed coffee and recommending this machine to anyone looking for a cool gift for someone special and a great cup of coffee.

This Wilfa coffee maker was reviewed by James Hoffman and I was tired of Keurig Pod dullness, so I bought the Wilfa. So far, I'm impressed. It delivers making very good coffee. The build quality is excellent, it looks great on the counter, and is clearly high quality. It makes two to four cups of coffee quickly and the simple interface - a single button - is exactly what I was looking for. Though I prefer the glass carafe over a thermos, the carafe is fragile so I have ordered a backup carafe. Highly recommend.

Sold my beloved spinn and bought this. Well this has magic, makes a great coffee, perhaps better than spinn. Clean thoughtful design, couldn’t be happier.

Could be a little bigger as far as capacity of the amount of coffee and it doesn’t stay hot very long only 40 minutes

You pay a decent amount for this coffee maker. Along with its stylish looks it makes great coffee! Love it!

Nice design. Easy refill of water. Easy adjust to make the number of cups you like with equally good quality..
