Great for travel — impressed me and my doubting husband!My 2 year old has been potty training for a bit. She decided one Wednesday she was emphatically done with pull-ups or diapers forever. Go girl! It just happened to be just a few days before we embarked on long cross-country flights and a week out of town. This portable potty came in so handy and helped support her for zero accidents on our whole trip! I ordered it specifically ahead of the trip. My husband had doubts about it and thought we should put her back in diapers (no backsliding! besides, there was no way she’d go along with it). He asked what we would need it for and I told him I want sure but felt like it was for the “unknown unknowns” and it absolutely came in handy and impressed us both. Used it when she was intimidated by a big unfamiliar potty, especially when tired and cranky from travel, and — most crucially — when she announced she had to poop while we were on a drive — multiple times! We were able to pull over and set it up on the floor behind the seat. The bag setup worked well and meant we didn’t have anything to clean.We never used it as a seat on a big potty — just as a portable mini potty with bags that had an absorbent liner. So worth it. I love that this was a tool to help support her success — no accidents, fewer tears, and a toddler who feels very proud of her little self!We plan to continue to take it with us when we go out on errands, hikes, and other occasions. It’s so light and easy to carry and use.

This has been such a lifesaver for way past the toddler years! My five year old still uses it sometimes when we’re waiting in the car line to pick up an older sibling at school, and the older sibling has used it when on a road trip with no close bathroom. The bags have never leaked on us, and I’ve been so thankful that I had it with us so many times!!!

This is really needed product, I do not know where we would run with my 3 year old daughter every time she she asks for bathroom outside either in playground or anywhere else. This is a must to have. Great idea.

We are following the "Oh Crap" method potty training, which basically means our son is "commando" until this potty training thing sinks in. Having this in the back of my car has opened up a new world to us! It's small which is convenient for carting it all over, I leave it set up with the liners for emergencies. Haven't had to try it on a regular sized toilet yet, but I'm sure it's good in a pinch. It's not small enough to fit in a purse - but a decent sized diaper bag or tote is sufficient.My one complaint is the size - my son is a LARGE 2.5, but I can't imagine an average sized kid fitting well on it. We have struggled with finding seats that he fits on in general, but when he sits on this his legs are in his armpits. I get that it's compact as its purpose is for travel so I don't knock it too much. If you have a boy, just be prepared to have a towel or mat to catch the pee that misses the pot.
