This is a great little coffee maker just enough for one cupI have limited space and this is very compact fits easily into the spaceIt makes one cup of coffee very quickly I tend to put my milk into the microwave to warm at the same timeThe only issue I have is it does drip for a little time after it’s finished I just put a bit of kitchen towel under the cup before brewing I have still given 5 stars even with this small issueGreat value for money easy to use and clean and ideal for one person

I had to move offices in the summer to a place with no water supply set up...so stranded without access to water or even a functioning kettle and with Covid19 rampant I thought it made sense to get one of these little Salter filters so I could bring a bottle of water in, brew up my ow drinks at my desk and stay happy while being forced to work at all during a pandemic.The machine is very simple, a water reservoir which has a few markings to show you how much water you need, from small tea cup to full coffee mug. There is a lid which is where the water gets suck up and drip through, and then a basket which you can either use a pod/filter bag in, or the basket which can be used for ground coffee or loose leaf tea. I found that using the basket AND pod holder together improved the coffee strength a bit as it's a fairly unsophisticated device, the water tends to just sprinkle down through the bag quite quickly. If you force the water to back a bit so it moves through the bag a bit more slowly, you get a richer brew.It's nice to have the choice of using a variety of things, sesnseo pod bags, coffee filter bags, tea bags, loose tea or ground coffee. As long as you have somewhere to wash out the baskets. Because I had no access to a sink I used the pods to save cleaning it out every time.Efficient, basically a slightly more fancy portable kettle. Well made, comes with an insulated cup but I have just been using a mug. It does not have a heated base plate so bear that in mind, and if you have a short mug it can tend to splash a little when it percolates down. I just stand it on kitchen towel.

Its a nice compact machine which makes a fair mug of coffee out of the box but has some minor issues for me.Firstly the machine is a drip filter machine, you put water in the reservoir up to the desired level, add ground for filter coffee to the basket and turn it on and you get a fair cup of coffee.THE FOLLOWING IS NOT RECOMMENDED:I found that using the mesh basket included for your ground coffee, leaves sediment in the cup. I left out the basket and used a cut down paper filter. I was wary of overflowing the filter so I switched off tha machine every so ofter and using an oven glove, opened the lid to check.Next time I will try removing both the mesh basket and holder to reduce the risk of overflow. The result was a much improved cup of coffee.LIKES: Ease of use, stepped measures in the water reservoir., easy to clean, compact size, use your own mug.Dislikes: Slides across counter easily, leaves sediment in your cup.I am very happy with my machine for the price its a capable wee coffee maker.

Brilliant for single cup of coffee, easy to use and clean.

One of the best gadgets I have bought recently. The coffee isn’t overly hot which means it can be drunk straight away.

Great but has lasted less than 18 months. Another I bought for a friend has lasted just under a year. Neither have been used much, maybe once or twice a week. A bit disappointed as when they work they’re good. Just wished they lasted a bit longer.

This was a life saver at work after the big coffee pot broke.Easy to use, inbuilt filter is easy to clean.Brew time is swift, quieter than the larger machine. No leakage or mess and you get a free travel cup and lid as well!
