Good stuff, high VOC, keep well ventilated.
It is serving its purpose. My friend advised me to use this product. He does furniture refurbishment so I had a good idea beforehand that this stuff would be good.Applied with brush as directed. The product is non-drip and unless you really overload a brush it does not drip, thicker than wallpaper paste, pours from out of tin in to a spare glass jar for application.Product is very high VOC and requires very good ventilation. Oak table restoration in progress and the old varnish and stain is being removed with a combination of this green stuff and grade 4 wire wool. Both of which are helping me to do this job.

New formula works well but it is far from cheap!
New Niromors is very much easier to use than the old type bearing the same name. The toxic element that burned hands fingers and eyes as well as blistering the paint you wish to remove is now gone. The new product is semi jellied so it is much better for use on vertical surfaces and areas above your head for instance. New Nitromors works very well on all modern paints and varnishes, however, it manages old lead paint from the '40s and '50s rather less efficiently. Overall new Nitromors works as claimed by the manufacturer though there is a time penalty, you do need to leave it on for longer to allow the product time to work, returning layer by layer to get down to the wood with the result the wood can get very soft so do go gently and be patient, though green in colour new Nitomors does not seem to stain light wood as old paint strippers tended to do.

New Nitromors is TERRIBLE! Don't buy it!
I have been using Nitromors for 30 years. I recently bought a new can of the new formula Nitromors. It is total RUBBISH!With the old Nitromors, all you had to do was brush it on in a reasonable thickness, leave it for 5-10 minutes as it got to work making the surface bubble up and then you would use a scraper to take off many layers, if not all the layers, of the old finish. However, with this new formula, you apply it as thick as you possibly can to get any kind of reaction, leave it for 10-15 minutes, and it will take off -at most- one coat of old finish. I got through half a 4 litre can of this new Nitromors whilst stripping just 2 wooden panels, each approximately 1 metre square. AND it took me 4 hours! The old stuff would have got through this using less than 1 litre in under an hour... Terrible! The new formula works so poorly that I ordered a different brand: Langlow Strip Away Pro, which works just like Nitromors used to. And it costs a lot less. This new Nitromors stuff is not worth buying, it's dreadful.

Couldn't believe the packing these were delivered in
The two stars I've given here're aren't necessarily for the product itself but for the packaging (or rather lack of it) which I think was frankly dangerous. When I received the box, it had been cut into with a Stanley knife and then taped up again (presumably by the courier). I'm assuming this was because the two tins I had ordered, had been put into quite a thin sided cardboard box which was about a third bigger than the tins themselves, and with no packing material. This meant that the tins were just sliding about inside the box and I'm assuming had given cause for concern to the courier, hence it had been opened and inspected. Given how heavy the tins are, I'm just surprised they didn't rip through the cardboard and fall out.
