Amazing end to the Renaissance Trilogy!
This story really ends the tale of Ezio Auditore Da Firenze perfectly, and the inclusion of his new tools is great, it is just a shame that they didn't keep them for future releases. This game is the perfect ending to the Renaissance trilogy, and the cliffhanger is so amazing that it will make you rush out and get the next game if you haven't got it already. The only let down to this is the Minecraft like Desmond sequences where you find yourself building blocks to get across a room, and it takes a bit away from the flow of the game, HOWEVER these sequences ARE OPTIONAL so the game doesn't push you into doing them to further the story thank God.The parts of this game with Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad are also great! I am so glad that his story got a good ending as well, because the end of Assassins Creed: Bloodlines really made me want more!I give this game a 9/10, however because of the scoring on Amazon I have given it a 5/5!

Ezio can do some crazy stuff for an old guy......
Before I start, I would like to point out my absolute love for the Assassins Creed series. I am a huge fan, thanks to Assassins Creed 2. Ezio, in fact, is my favourite game character of all time (besides Commander Shepard). So, all in all, Revelations was disappointing, but only to the extent I expected it to be - it is, after all, the second spin off game from AC2, and therefore a certain amount of disappointment is expected. I found the addition of the Den Defense mini-game to be a waste of time, and I just waited so I could fight for the Den instead of going through the somewhat tedious task of playing a 15th Century version of Bloons, just without any monkeys. The basic gameplay, besides this, is pretty much the same. The controls were simple and easy to get used to, and that was great.I could never hate the AC series - it just has a certain charm - and despite its downfalls, it was a good game, just like Brotherhood. Once you accept that it isn't trying to be the third AC, and that it will never live up to that, and just treat it as a sort of Brotherhood-point-five, you can have yourself a great time.

Invigorating gameplay & storyline
"OH MY GOD, OH MY GOD, OH MY GOD!"I got into the Assassin's Creed line a few years ago and have been very zealous in continuing indulging in the entire concept and world. Absolutely brilliant games and finding each is bringing something new, without the usual strain of a company grasping at straws for some new selling point. The worlds are rich, dynamic and engrossing. The characters suck you into the storyline. The storyline and concept themselves leaves a massive scope for continuation - the producers and writers have built the game from the very foundations, allowing for a variety of simultaneous storylines between the past, present and future - they give enough to keep you hooked and wanting more.Alongside the main story you're given a diverse range of other tasks including recruiting, training and mentoring the next assassin's, expansion of your arsenal and armour, exploration and side quests and stories - notably vast and unlinear world, the way it should be.Hugely eager to get into the next few games and excited to see what direction it takes.

It was AMAZING
I loved it from the very start. It is assassin's creed after all, so you could say I'm a bit bias as I love all of them so far. I just can't wait to get the next one! So if you have bought the previous ones then you should definately buy this one. The only thing I would say I disliked about the game was when using the parachute as I would have preferred it (even though less logical) to have the same or a similar system as the parachute on 'Just Cause 2'. Some carriage bits are also a bit annoying but to be honest are quite short in comparison to the rest of the game. So my final word about the game is: EPIC.

Good game, terrible online mode
Gameplay hasn't changed all that much from the predecessors, but for something that works, there shouldnt be too many changes. The "train the assasins" mode has been given more depth, however I missed more integration of it in the story.***SPOILER ALERT***The ending, leaving things open, not sure if it makes me happy not to be entirely done with the assasins or annoyed by Ubisoft to keep milking the cow.

The game's mechanics are similar to the preceding games which makes it easy to play for the dedicated player and still is simple enough for the newbie player to learn but by this point in the saga, we've seen Ezio come from his cradle and head towards his grave. His character is still as capable as he was when he was a young man but now he seems to have overstayed his welcome. Now, his travels are taking him to ancient artifacts that give more background to Altair's past, giving his character the brief but fond farewell he deserves, and everything else is a build-up to helping Desmond restore himself so that he can leave the Animus and continue the plot in AC III. Still, the epilogue of Ezio's story is still interesting to watch unfold and the inclusion of the new Hook-blade allows further reach to higher places that has made scaling tall buildings a tedious challenge of every player. Also, the new bomb-making feature is highly interesting, allowing the player to make all kinds of different bombs for different purposes. Overall, not an amazing game but still worth a play.

Favorite game
I purchased this for my partner after he enjoyed the earlier Assassins Creed games. You could happily play this without playing the earlier games but they do fit nicely together. There are also many little side challenges that you can take up or not along the way. The graphics are great and the story line is easy to follow. Also you are taught new skills and moves along the way in little training sessions so the challenge/interest stays high throughout the game. On a personal note I don't like playing games with excessive violence and as modern games go this is fairly good.
