5 X 10 LITRE PLASTIC BUCKETS WITH LIDS, HARD WEARING BUCKET METAL HANDLED

I thought these buckets looked pretty robust on arrival and having now use them to harvest and store honey I've been impressed. I fill them to about 1 1/2" below the top. With the lids on I'm able to carry and move them with no problems. With the lid off I'm able to raise the bucket to head height and pour the honey into a strainerr.Theres an odd lookiking lid locking mechanism on the side of the bucket that you push in tto get to the edge of the lid to open it. The mechanism doesn't break when you do this which means you can be reusing the same buckets for a long time.I'll be reusing these bucket for a few years and I'm actually going to order some more of these to standardise on.in my extraction room.

Will do the job.

One out of ten don't close air tight the seal is only 80% of the way round think probably caused by the packing bending the lid out of shape. Others are great and do what they should.

Excellent product- exactly as described - good value for money and delivered quickly whats not to like.

Good buckets lids don’t fit well

I have ordered this set of five 10l buckets twice before. The seller varies as does the design of the buckets (not always as pictured) On this occasion, I ordered through PURE WIPES LTD. This time, the buckets were as pictured; however, the lids do not fit the buckets properly and require excessive force to snap into place. I reported the problem but have been totally ignored, so I certainly would not buy through PURE WIPES LTD again. The one star is for PURE WIPES LTD and this particular set of buckets. Otherwise, most of my other buckets have stood the test of time, allowing for one cracked bottom and a broken handle clip.

I like these very much because I wanted to keep special compoet in them and they are perfect.

Just the job for its intended use.I normally store cement and pre-mixed mortar in washed-out paint containers (like the large Dulux white emulsion paint) that have snap-on lids and so are airtight (and moisture-proof), however my last paint container had developed a crack in it so I looked for a replacement and found these.They are just the job. They keep the powdered contents free from moisture and, as they are stackable, they save space in my garage too. My only misgiving is that when full of cement or mortar they are quite heavy and the plastic handles seem rather flimsy - but so far all has been fine. Since they should hold 10 litres of water - which weighs 10kg - they should be fine.The snap-on lids are great and the same sort of design as that used on the large paint containers. They have a tamper-proof seal which is easy to use - so good for food storage.A rather unusual use for theses containers you’ll probably think, and you’re right, but for me they do exactly the job I intended for them and I’m happy.Highly recommended if a little pricey.
