Bought this for my wife as she was using an Ally as her primary machine and wanted a solution to let her mount it or have it on a stand, etc etc. This was the perfect little kit for it. Very nice quality, the way you can attach and remove each adapter is wonderful. Great stability between each piece, everything fits tight and securely. Would absolutely buy again if needed for another rig, excellent value. Absolutely recommend to anyone.

I used the mount adapters and universal grip from the bundle onto my JSAUX Modcase and it makes the steam deck so portable albeit a bit heavy. It includes a universal grip and two adapters that i attached to my battery packs.***PRO TIP***: Attach the mounts to your battery pack or to the wall mount with the orientation of the exposed springs in the down position. Use the deckmate stand to understand how I mean. Will include a photo of the wall mount to also demonstrate what I mean. This prevents the weight while in use to keep the SD from falling off the mount or the battery packs from falling off the mount.Now it works like a dream and i can 100% recommend the product! It is very easy to install! Just make sure you pick the location for the universal grip to sit on your case and where you want to align them to attach your battery packs to them. I also used the wallmount and attached to my bedside bookshelf as a way to save space while charging or if I want to play with a full controller but not necessarily on a full size gaming monitor or TV.

Was easy to attach to my ROG Ally and the kickstand is a solid upgrade. The packaging is well done, with individually labeled parts and video guides.My only criticism is that the mounting on the ROG is held by some tiny plastic bits and I worry how well that’ll hold up over time.

The ability to attach a powerbank to the back, add an attachable kickstand and mount it to computer stand gave me several ways to enjoy my ally. The only issue I had was when I considered mounting my all to the wall. The piece broke off. Not sure if it was due to weight or flawed product but everything else worked great!

Everything is in excellent and durable plastic very high quality, although there are too many things that i wouldn't use but the kit has everything that you could need from an attachment kit.

I have two main complaints that sort of go hand in hand.The first problem I noticed is that this is not compatible with the official Steam Deck docking station from Valve. That may be an oversight on my part, but it wasn't terribly clear (if it's mentioned anywhere). I'm guessing that also means it won't work with most other docks. The ideal solution I guess would be to use the wall mount that the DeckMate comes with and just have a cable hanging from your TV, but if you already own a dock then you may have to spend more money. I don't know a great solution to this problem, but I am disappointed.The second issue is that this thing feels cheap. Structural components are entirely plastic, but it doesn't seem like very high quality plastic. It seems a bit stiff, like it would snap quite easy. If I have to take it off and put it on every time I want to dock my Deck, I'm concerned it will break pretty quickly. I could probably live with the build quality if it fit while on the dock.Other than that, the product is okay. At $50, it's a very hard sell for me personally. If you never dock your Deck, and you can get past the happy-meal-toy plastic quality, it's probably a lot better for you.

Updated Review - The company came through and promptly fixed my issue. The issue I was facing, and others probably, has been addressed in manufacturing. Much appreciated.Previous Review - I saw the other reviews mentioning durability before purchasing, but I was hoping those issues had been addressed. It broke within 2 weeks. The design is neat, but there is definitely a weak spot.

The description is false on this product, says it comes with an adapter you can put anywhere on the back of your case but this is the second time I’ve order this product and it doesn’t even come with what it’s selling. Return it if it’s missing any sort of pieces.
