Comfort & Useability
I Have used many punches only to find they are small, thin and very difficult to hold and use without causing serious hand discomfort and palm pain when applying direct pressure to activate the spring punch. This punch is way different in that it offers an excellent gripping handle, is very durability, and comfortable when applying hand pressure to activate. The adjustable spring load should shatter just about any glass and indent most metal materials with ease. Very impressive not only as a shop tool but also as a automobile escape tool should the need ever arise.

almost impossible for me to use
I bought this because the Starrett automatic punch has a spring too strong for me to push to the "release" point. At least they give the force, 60 to 140 newtons, which no one else seems to. But like the Starrett, even set at the lowest force level, I cannot get it to fire without standing and pressing my entire weight (170 lb) on it. I contacted the seller and I am giving 5 stars because he said he would gladly refund the price. But I decided to address the spring issue and at my local hardware store got a 3/8" spring with the same length but discernibly lower stiffness and now it is usable. I'm not Arnold Schwarzenegger but I'm not a 97-lb weakling either. No idea what my problem is but I do not need huge power since I work with wood, plastic, and non-ferrous metals mostly. So I learned something and with some energy investment got a usable center punch. Maybe I'll do likewise with my starrett - get a softer spring.

Pops a good divot in aluminum.
Really got tired of all the chinky smaller automatic center punches that you can get. Husky brand had an upside because it has a lifetime warranty but as much as I use these, it wasn’t worth it still. Plus, they don’t pack a punch like this one.Basically, the option was between Starrett and this one. I like that this one was unique looking and a little more visible with that nice palm swell. This one also was about five dollars cheaper than the Starrett but I was able to buy a two year warranty with it.I have a buddy at work who had a Starrett at work that had broken and he had already ordered another one. I told him about mine, and he checked it out and canceled his order and ordered one of these. It packs a punch. It feels good in the hand and if it does fail on me, I have a two year warranty still under the price as a Starrett.Would highly recommend

Comfortable to use.
I tried it out on some hardwood on the lowest resistance and it worked excellent , good depth hole to start a drill in.

Hasn't broke yet
I've tried all the other ones from Project Farms review, all the other ones have broke I finally bought this one hasn't broke yet. It's really hard now every now and then it won't click though. But all in all I'm very happy with it so far
