Another fantastic read with a strong heroine ❤
Story: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Trope: second chance, enemies to loversAngst:😱😱😱😱Smexy:🔥🔥🔥🔥I really enjoyed this series! Relatively fast paced, lots of action, and strong heroines. This one didn't have as much suspense as the last one, but was still very enjoyable. The enemies to lovers in this was 🔥🔥🔥 and added a lot to the fiery start to their second chance. The smexy times were smoking as well. I am excited to read the other brothers stories as well!

Enjoyed!
3.5⭐️I enjoyed Effie and Finn - their history made for an interesting dynamic. I did feel like the betrayals just kept coming lol like every other chapter it was like oomph they're fighting again. it felt a little repetitive, but I still enjoyed this overall!

Hate Me
I liked it sooooo much!!!!! I loved the childhood friends to enemies to lovers trope a lot. It delivered A LOT and I eat that up❤❤ I didn't like that it was that fast read but I felt all the steps and they didn't miss anything for a sort story like that. I liked Effie more towards the end cause she owned herself and I wanted to see it more before it ends. Nonetheless, I loved it and I can't wait for the other Fox brothers to have their books!!!! ✨✨✨✨✨✨

Finneas Fox is the ultimate Doberman Boy
"Finneas Fox is not a good man, but he is my man." Effie, I may fight you for him.Hate Me is the second installment of the Fox Family Crime Syndicate, and can be read as a standalone. If you want a little more background on the Fox family, start with Make Me. This is a dark mafia romance; tropes include:*Childhood Friends to Enemies to Lovers*Arranged marriage*Marriage of convenience*Mafia romance*"My wife"Where to begin? Let's start with my girl, Effie...I loved her character development in this book. She starts off as a dutiful mafia princess, feeling undervalued because she is a daughter and will be married off to whoever her father wants. She is abused by her parents emotionally and physically, and resigns herself to thinking this is the way of the world she grew up in. But at the end of this book she turns into a stronger woman and leans into the power she had under the surface all along, with the support she gets from Finn. Summer O'Toole does a good job of letting us know that Effie had the power and strength within her, she just needed the confidence to bring it out and Finn was the one to provide her with that confidence.Oh, and let's not gloss over Finneas Fox...my latest book boyfriend. Sorry Cash Fox, but Finn has surpassed you on the book boyfriend scale by miles. Where Cash was psychotic and unhinged, Finneas is calculating, depraved, but a gooey cinnamon roll on the inside. And when it comes to Effie, readers really get to see his deepest desires come to the surface. I love a redemption arc, and Finn's attempts to get back in Effie's good graces after the shit he pulled, chef's kiss. I think one of my biggest pet peeves with the redemption arc is when a character doesn't seem to work for it, when they keep repeating old behaviors and the author allows them to still be "redeemed." Not the case here! The kind gestures, words, devotion that Finn shows Effie feel real, so in my mind, he's the ultimate catch.4/5 stars and the only reason I'm knocking one off is that the plot was a little too predictable for my taste, but personal preference is that I love a good twist.Cannot wait to read all about Roan in Keep Me!

Finneas Foxmy book HUSBAND (sorry daddy cash, you’ve been replaced)Effie Lucianothe woman i aim to be👏🏼Effie and Finn are the king and queen of my dark mafia loving heart 💚i’ve been trying to gather my thoughts to do this review justice but honestly this is a story you just HAVE to read to understand why i love it so much (it’s going on my top of the year list)i felt every emotion reading their story as if they were telling it to me themselves and i was sitting criss-cross applesauce at their feet - and let me tell you there were A LOT of emotions😅childhood friends were torn apart by their mafia families choices which led to a hatred between the two main characters for the last 10 yearswhen they see each other again for the first time the energy is an enigma - even though Effie and Finn are both harboring resentment, hatred and anger toward one another their mutual admiration, love and respect are still bubbling underneath the surfacedespite their current animosity towards one another it’s so obvious Finn would burn the world down for Effie without question and no one knows that better than Effie herself.when they were adolescents Finn made Effie promise that if she ever needed him all she had to do was call and he’d be there. when Effie has to cash-in that promise it leads to a very reluctant arranged marriage designed to protect everyone involvedWHAT I ADORED:•everything about finn😍•body love/representation (i’m looking at you mirror scene🪞)•MY WIFE scene•the spice, holy it was hot🥵🔥•the playlist - 100% recommend listening to the curated playlist while reading•Effie being a STRONG FMC💅🏻•the flashbacks we’re done extremely well•water lilies 😭honestly this book ripped me apart and put me back together again (chapter 14) and sunflower tears were shed (iykyk)Summer perfectly encapsulated this story and I selfishly cannot wait to meet the rest of our Fox brothers (although I don’t think anyone can top Finn for me)🖤✨“You killed for me.”“Baby, i’d die for you.”✨

Wow, they are so twisted and so sweet. Lol. I love the way these Fox men love 😍. I love they the novels are as dark as they are light. Finn and Effie are definitely the light! Onto Roan!
