It works so far, 14 Lexus gs350
I purchased this bc my driver side headlight was flickering, I didn’t know the age of the bulbs or the ballasts so I figured I would just replace both driver and passenger side bulbs and only replaced the ballast on the driver side bc of the flickering. It works so far, seems to be decent quality compared to oem, it did take about 15-20seconds longer to power up the HID bulb to its correct color temp and brightness compared to the oem one still working on the passenger side. Hopefully it will last the life of my ownership of the vehicle.

As good as OEM
Worked like a charm. Includes a seal, OEM doesn't and costs almost 10x more.

At $28, the price is great, but quality not the same as OEM
I have a 2013 Land Cruiser and replaced the HID bulbs with new Osrams. My OEM ballasts then started giving me trouble, one side at a time, where they would power the bulbs on, but they’d go off in 8-10 seconds, so I knew I had a ballast problem. OEMs from the dealer were $289, so I tried one of these out first. On first glance, they appear almost identical to the OEM model. The label is almost the same except for the Toyota logo. The main difference is the plug that goes on the back of the bulb (see images). My passenger side went out first, so I put one of these ballasts on that side first. Instantly, compared to the driver side (OEM ballast) this ballast seemed not as bright. Even after warming up, the side with this ballast seemed dimmer. To give it a fair trial, I replaced the driver side with one of these for comparison today. After driving, I’ll update the review with driving tests. As of now, the ballasts seem noticeably dimmer and therefore less safe, so 2 stars only for the value. Not sure if this is a decreased wattage issue or what, but if the driver side seems dimmer after road test, I’ll return these for the OEM ballasts (which look to be around $190 online.)UPDATE: 1/11/25After trying 3 separate units, I’ve updated the original 2/5 to 1/5 stars. 2 of the 3 units failed within 30 days of installation. The third unit is currently installed alongside a new OEM ballast. The aftermarket unit is slow to start up and the color temp and brightness never quite matches the OEM unit. The bulbs are the same on both sides. Save yourself the time and headache and just buy the OEM from Lakeland Toyota online via Toyota Parts Overstock. The price was much cheaper than my local dealer and shipping was fast.

A little bit off
Looks like the voltage is all a little bit off I have identical new bulbs in both sides but the replacement ballast I got has a different color to the bulb after installed
