Easy to use and works well

Im very content with product. It gets the job done and it gives my homemade emapanadas the nice final touch, which saves me a step.

My wife and I planned to make up a large batch of pasties (popular in Michigan's Upper Penninsula) and freeze a couple dozen of them for later. The NORPRO 1041 looked like an ideal tool to produce professional-looking pasties and ordered two of them. On the third pastie, the hinge broke on one of them and then the hinge on the 2nd one broke on about the 5th pastie. The way we used them was actually more gentle than what you would expect as our dough was not heavy and thick like pie dough would be. The hinge is obviously the point of the most strain and it looks and is flimsy. They won't work with a broken hinge so were tossed in the trash. Don't waste your money on this item. If the hinges were beefed-up, I'd buy them again as they do a great job when they do work.

The size is very comfortable. It’s well made. Making a puertotican pastelillo is easier now. One side you press and get your circle. Flip it, layer ingredients and press. Very easy to handle

Not great, but alright. Little bit on the flimsy side.

To make apple pies, the kids loved the fact they could carry them around in their hands!H

I love the norpro handpie makers. One side is used to cut out the dough and the other side is used to crimp it. I have the crescent one and the oblong one.
