We have had the dispenser for over a week and not a single issue. My mother has cognitive decline and lives alone. She is still able to live alone but was having difficulty keeping up with her medication. She was scared and so were we. She loves the machine and reviews it frequently to make sure she has taken her medicine and when it is due again. The beeping is loud and it flashes light. I recommend this product 1,000%!

hard to set the alarms

My mom is 94...it is always difficult to change for her.... but it is so simple she's getting there. I cannot find a place to buy extra trays for replacement and early set up. :(

Device operation performance is as Advertised

Update 2/23/24: liked it while it lasted, less than 4 years after purchase it doesn't work, only turns half as far as it needs to.Just got the device . . . QUESTION: here can I get an extra key, or what else can I use to un-lock / lock it when the single key that comes with it gets lost.My thoughts so far: (1) fairly easy to set up the alarms; (2) tricky to get the 2nd alarm to be the first set of pills dispensed on day one; (3) the slots are pretty small if you miss-load pills and need to get them out. But I am optimistic it will work well for my Mom. Will update that part later.

Works

I never used it because the compartments are too small to contain my vitamins. This unit is more suited for small pills and perhaps a daily multivitamin.

Fool proof assistant to make sure you or loved one takes meds properly! Easy to setup! Better than hiring someone to dispense meds! Game changer for medicine management!
