Great well built Zigbee controlled transformer!
Great build quality. Nice brushed aluminum all over including clasps and brackets. Feels built to last. 12V/15V for long runs. Easy flip wire connectors so no screwing in wires. Knockouts covered with plastic pinch grommets. Paired up with my Zigbee hub via Homeassistant with zigbee2mqtt instantly. Only negative is that there is no built in timer that you can set although I think most people buying this are trying to only use automation. Works great.

Workes great
Good price works great I got it to replace 3 old transformers that haven't worked for years I have 12 lights connected to it as of now and plan on adding 4 more I put 8 in the back yard and 4 in the front but I ran out of lights and have to wait til the reast get delivered no issues at all I used 12/2 wire on the lights furthest away and connected those to the 15 and 14/2 to the lights closet to the transformer connected those to the 12 set all of them to dusk til dawn and everything worked exactly as it was supposed to with out having to make any adjustments I've never installed landscape lighting before and after a few YouTube videos and some online research it was beyond easy to do all I needed was this ,some wire ,the lights, a few water proof splice kits, a shovel and a sawzall....I got lazy and after seeing a youtube video of someome trenching his yard with a sawzall figured id give it a shot and it worked i will recommend eye protection and a quick pass wirh a shovel 1st to make sure you don't have anything hard like big rocks along the path your trying to trench but the entire job took leas then 3 hours a big part of what saved so much time was this transformer i only had to install one unit and it has 2 separate zones with 2 diffent power outlets each it was more then enough to get the job done seems pretty well made i did add silicone around the bottom opening around the wires just to keep moisture and bugs out

Working Well 3 Months In
So far so good! Zigbee connection is super reliable, way better than WiFi versions I’ve tried and returned in the past. Pairing with Phillips Hue bridge was quick and easy. Construction appears to be good quality.

Works with Home Assistant but only as a single switch
Good quality device, easy to pair with the Zigbee network, good range, lots of terminals with 12 and 15v.Negative is it only seems to support a single switch for every terminal and are just on off, not dimmable. I guess I expected it to have more than that for the price. You could easily just grate a $20-30 Zigbee outdoor plug and put a dumb transformer on it for much less money. Even Surlaielec’s WiFi version of this is $50 cheaper. In retrospect I would have gone with something else but it does work fine otherwise

Great unit
Before I received-this, I would be skeptical of its quality. Skepticism averted it is a great quality unit. The only thing I wish it had was a longer optical lead otherwise as shown as promised.

Nice for the price! Well built. I love the 15V option.
This works very nicely. It is sturdy, easy to install, the door is on hinges and can also be removed easily, and there are several cable entry ports on the bottom. I love the 15V option, it allows you to create a fairly long run with #12 cable and still get over 12V at the end, so if you use 12-to-24V LED you get lots of flexibility. Don't use larger than #12, it won't fit in the tees. It's nice that there are two programmable channels. I don't use them, I use a smart socket running on my own program, and it's nice that this transformer can be powered up and down externally and it returns to the state it was in before (for me that's "on"). I chose one of the cheapest 300W ones available, I'm surprised at how good it is.

PURE GARBAGE
THIS PIECE OF JUNK LASTED LESS THAN SIX MONTHS BEFORE COMPLETELY FAILING.AND FOR THE RECORD, I DID NOT PUT TOO MANY LIGHTS ON THE TRANSFORMER. TWO LED UPLIGHTS ON A PALM TREE AND A SHORT STRING OF LED GARDEN PATH LIGHTS. THAT IS ALL.FIRST SIGNS THE TRANSFORMER WAS FAILING WAS IT WOULD SHUT THE LIGHTS OFF AND ON WHENEVER IT WANTED, REGARDLESS OF THE TIMER OR PHOTOSENSOR. THEN IT STARTED TO MAKE THE LANDSCAPE LIGHTING FLICKER WHEN ON. FINALLY, IT MADE THE OUTSIDE LIGHTING DIMMER AND DIMMER UNTIL IT JUST DIED COMPLETELY.IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A QUALITY LANDSCAPE LIGHTING TRANSFORMER, THIS IS NOT IT! LITERALLY LASTED LESS THAN SIX MONTHS. TOO LATE TO GET A REFUND, SO WILL LOOK FOR A MUCH BETTER PRODUCT.
