Happy with my purchase. Very adjustable brightness

The switch is clicky, the light is pure and helps to see the working surface clearly fit electronic repairs. The screws that tighten the ring to the microscope work well. The cord is long enough without being too long.

Ordered for digital microscope for electronics rework and so far pretty satisfied...Long enough cable with USB header, so you aren't tied to proprietary power adapter, amount of LEDs give pretty even light and are towards 5-6K spectrum, which is my preference.Preforms great - has smooth dimmer, fits perfect - if you need to use for digital camera lens add-on you might look for other model with silicone or plastic tips on mount screws and ones with four sectional lighting - you might need "selective side" light for portraiture or macro close-up.

The screws do not have rubber stops on them so they will damage the lens housing if not careful. I placed a wide rubber band around the housing and the screws over it and works pretty well.

This cw color controllable ring light is fantastic for realistic color control for professional photography. Other lights I’ve seen have a very strong green cast. It spikes in brightness in the warm color and the whitest color. The middle range of color has a little less maximum brightness than the extremes. But that’s ok because the colors are really, really nice at the extremes. The warm is very warm, the white is a very nice combination of white and warm leds. Also all the leds, white and warm are always on throughout the color ranges to varying degrees, thus ensuring maximum brightness. It is bright enough to hurt your eyes on white paper! Very nice. The 3 images show the warm color and the white color of this light and the greenish light is from a different brand. Taken with my iPad Pro on a white towel.

The polarizer is not fastened well and just snaps on. It sometimes falls off and has to be placed back on. Not high quality.

Works great to light up coins and cancels out any shadows. I would definitely recommend to people the brightness adjustment could be smoother. But all in all a good ring light.
