Doesn’t stay on
Doesn’t stay on and turning mechanism too large (you lose a lot of drawing space). This is a largely useless tool, as you can accomplish the same thing with a square.

Defective.
There was excessive play in the dial, "90degree"; vertical line drawn at this position was actually 89degrees. Assumed it was defective, useless. Not staedtler's usual quality at all.

Bought this on 16th March, just realised it doesn't stop at the required indents and it rattles so assume it's broken.It free turns when moving left or right. Back to set squares for the time being until resolvedTypically there is no way of contacting the company to exchange.
