Love the speed control.

Does not hold a charge very long. Annoying as I have to climb a ladder to take it down to charge and climb again to put back up.

I’ve been using it on the porch of my work with a 12” disco ball.the battery last all day on a charge.

The remote control buttons are labeled wrong(e.g. High Speed button=Medium Speed, 2Hour Timer button=High Speed, Rotate Right=Left, 0.5H Timer=Rotate Right)and some advertised functionality is missing (No Auto-Shutoff after 0.5/1/2 Hour timer.)The Timer Auto-Shutoff was the main reason I wanted to buy from this seller because all the other vendors had a simpler remote control without as many features.Unfortunately, it seems that the old circuit board with fewer features was assembled inside of the newer case that has more buttons, and some of the buttons do not push anything or push the wrong thing underneath.Also the motor is not powerful enough even on high speed to turn a 12 inch metal wind spinner and glass gazing ball as fast as advertized. I think it is because this motor only uses 2 AAA bayteries.I have a motor that uses a single D battery and it spins fast enough but has no remote or Timer shutoff. The AAA battery motor might be fine with a lighter wind spinner, or a plastic disco ball, or a baby crib mobile.I am returning this and buying 10,000 mAh rechargeable D batteries to use with my existing motor.

I got a hanging wind spinner thing to use indoors at an assisted living center. These are the only style of motor available with remote, different speeds, and NO MUSIC. When options are so limited, you really just have to make due with what you can find. Luckily these are priced very well compared to others.Everything seems to work well with them. They can hold the weight of a 52 inch "dancing helix" which has a mixture of metal rods, glass beads, and elastic banding. It'd be interesting to find out just how much weight this can hold.....Hmm..... :)

The product isn't that bad, it's just not what I was hoping for. The remote definitely works (and was a great idea), but it's light activated - meaning that you have to be in the room to use it (Not wifi, bluetooth or RF signal, etc. so it can't work through walls). the gear "I guess" is fairly strong, but it turns very sloooowly - even at it's highest speed. it can be used for a disco ball, but probably not the best for DYI projects that I have in mind.

Light never turns green therefore it doesn't operate only flashes red

Barely moved small spinner and stopped working after one day. Return period had ended so I threw it away. Do not recommend.
