In the last 3 years I have purchased 4 shadowhawk torches. So if anyone can give you a straight review I feel I qualify. Reason I have owned 4 is not because of lack of quality because they are extremely well made , it's more because of me misplacing 1 of them, giving 1 away as a gift to a friend who was walking home late at night down lanes and I wanted them to be safe. Other 2 times because they really are fantastic hard wearing, totally more than just fit for purpose. I keep on in my shed in my emergency go to bag and one on the side by backdoor.Battery capacity 5*Waterproof wise I would have to say more shower proof than fully waterproof and give a 3.7*Ease of use very good especially with long press to turn off rather than previous similar torches having to click through the different modes.There are 3 brightness levels for basic light mode all of which are well sufficient, also if used for security reasons possibly at night or walking home a quick flash in the eyes of a possible assailant would no doubt temporarily incapacitate them so you can get away and head to safety. I know this because I tried it on myself and after flash and light turned off I could see nothing for at least 60 seconds.The range of the focus from large all round lit up area to pin pointed long range distance still amazes me still now at times .Battery life of the shadowhawk made rechargeable battery is so much better than other 26650 batteries I have plus you can if needs be use the free holder that comes with torch to adapt 3x AAA batteries if get stuck , although I have never had to do this. Comes with very handy little versatile free cob light which has a clip or magnetic fixingAll in all I highly recommend the Shadowhawk S1695 and think that buyers will not be disappointed.Yours sincerely (a very happy repeat offender) 😃👍

Where to start. Quite honestly the most powerful torch I have ever owned. This thing literally lights up the park when dog walking. When on focused beam mode it practically turns into the bat signal. I’m am sure there are brighter torches out there but I imagine at a higher price point.It is easy to use and the percentage power meter is useful to know when to charge, it will lose strength after the battery drops below about 50% but will likely still be brighter than pretty much anyone else’s torch. It does eat through its charge quickly but you can see why and the 3 level settings (high, medium, low) help. You will need to charge it regularly but it comes with a rechargeable battery and an option for AAA if you get caught out.It is quite sizeable but not enough to put you off using it daily.Only had a month but it seems pretty robust so far.If you do buy one, just remember, with great power, comes great responsibility.
