A very good device & worth the money.
I have used this for a while now and I am very pleased. It is worth taking the time to set it up as you want it. I have matched it to local radar speed signs so I know it is accurate. The fuel use should only be taken as a guide. It is great if, as like me, the speedometer is not easily visible in certain light conditions.

Happy chappy…
A bit complicated to setup and calibrate to reflect the actual speed but once done it’s perfect.. works well on my 2006 Audi A6. Contacted seller about the issues and they responded quickly, so A+ after sales service. Giving 4 stars because setup and calibration could be easier and straightforward. Other than that, at this price point, well pleased..

I’ve gained more buying this than I could have foreseen
Let me set the scene.I had no reason to think my car even had a computer in it. It didn’t even have a trip meter!I have just got my hands on a 2002 Mini. Great to drive. All I was looking for was my speed inn front of me rather than in its quirky location (slap bang In-between the two front seats), which I was not used to at all.The list of compatible vehicles on the product page is by no means exhaustive. I did some quick research and found out the OBD2 port (to plug into the car’s computer) was made mandatory in Europe in 2001 for petrol cars and 2004 for diesel cars.So I went ahead and purchased this item. That sneaky car of mine tells you NOTHING when in fact it is quite self-aware! Now I have all the basic information a modern car tells you: fuel consumption etc.But onto the product itself:It looks fantastic on the windscreen and I haven’t even had to apply the reflective film. It’s got a lot of functionality compared to slightly cheaper HUDs, with a colour display. Colours that have been well-chosen I will add. Looks professional. It’s as visible in bright sunlight as it is in the dead of night.Personally, I stuck a small square of velcro to the car and to the display. Makes it very easy to align the display at the angle you prefer. You may like it dead horizontal with the road, or you may like it at an angle “tucked into” the very corner of your windscreen for example. It refreshes your speed at well-timed intervals and being “told” my speed right there in front of me is really rather relaxing compared to looking down to “check” my speed.I’m considering getting one for my other car. I like this thing so much that at the moment, I can actually be bothered to take it out of one car and put it in the other, and back again…

2019 Corsa Model E - Not simple plug and play
Bought for 2019 Corsa Model E. If I power the device and let it initialise before powering the engine it confuses the ECU throwing check engine light and other errors. To clear these I had to unplug the HUD from the OBD port leave the car powered of for 5 minutes then restart the engine. To get around this issue in my car you can use the on/off switch on the HUD, switch it off after driving then turn it back on when the engines started. Or just immediately start the engine as soon as you get in the car, not allowing the HUD to initialise before the engine starts. To avoid this being an issue at all I'm going to add a voltage delay relay to the cable, this will allow me to make it so that the HUD only gets power when I start the engine and will delay it getting power for 30 seconds to 1 minute. Requires soldering ability for this solution and additional parts costing around £10.Other than that it's bright and can be seen in bright sunlight, it really comes into it's own at night where it looks amazing. Unfortunately, I have a laminated windscreen (as I have a heater windscreen) so I have to use the reflective sheet that it comes with it to avoid ghosting (doubled image) which I think takes away from the look. It accurately displays speed, rpm and other data. Managed to hide about 90% of the cable but would look nicer with a right angled mini-usb instead of one coming straight out the side of the HUD.It looks clearer in person than it does in the photo. All in all ok for the price.

If you have an OBD port you need one
I bought this then went on a road trip to test it out, and by God did it help. I could see my speed, RPM, engine temp, battery voltage, and fuel consumption - my Ford doesn’t even have most of those on the dashboard. Plus, I never had to take my eyes off the road. Switching from mph to km/h was a little confusing, but after messing around with the buttons for a minute I figured it out. It sits nicely on my dash with the included rubber mat. I didn’t even have to install the reflective film, even with sunglasses on and in full sun the reflection was bright enough to see on the windscreen. Overall, if you own a vehicle sold in the EU after 2003, this is worth the money.

Cable enters on the left. Designed for left-hand drive cars
The fact the cable has to enter the unit on the left hand side, makes for a rather messy installation on UK, right hand drive vehicles as the cable has to double back on itself on the way to the OBD2 connector. It made my car look tacky and cheap. Also, the unit gets hot, especially in bright sunlight and turned itself off on two occasions, maybe from overheating.I returned it for a refund.
