This actually works! We have OEM cross bars on an Atlas & the whistle was so bad. Whistle would start at 20mph! Our old car had factory installed cross bars & did not whistle. So this was new for us & so annoying! We wanted to leave the bars on to make it easier when we put our roof box on once a month (one less thing to have to do) and put one of the strips on before a road trip (w/o the roof box) and so happy it works! No whistle at 20 & going 80 on the highway, you know you have cross bars- not NO whistle! So happy as our kids that couldn’t be in the car w/o headphones before! It works!

The strips were great and canceled out all whistling/wind sounds for the 12 hours that it’s stuck to my racks. I scrubbed each rack with rubbing alcohol (not provided) and allowed them to drive before placing them on. I also made sure to rub them on very well to ensure adhesive bonded.When go on my lunch break the following day they were hanging off and completely came off the back rack.For the price and the work I am very disappointed.Honestly, I would like a refund.

This product has been a life saver for me and my Tesla Model Y roof rack. Prior to this tool, I had installed my Tesla Model Y roof rack onto my 2023 Model Y and the whistling was deafening and annoying. I made a service appointment with Tesla and was told “they all whistle and if you want it to stop, you need to take the roof rack off”. Several people on Reddit suggested this and it stopped all whistling.To install, I just pushed it on top of the existing rubber strip in the crossbars and mashed it down to fit on top of the current rubber strip. Super easy and well worth the money.

Does not reduce noice

Initially, I added one strip to the top of my crossbar, as it appeared that's what the sample pictures indicated. When I tested it I still had whistling noise. So, I used the 2nd strip on the front of the same crossbar. Whistling is 100% gone.

It actually reduced the noise, so it does work. However, the adhesive is not strong enough and the edge kept curling up. Also, as you can see from the photo, the white adhesive part is pretty thick which visually didn’t look very good. May I suggest making the adhesive stronger and thinner? Thank you. I am returning this item.

A must-buy for Tesla roof racks. Stops whistling noise.

When installed as instructed it definitely helped remove the wind noise. However since I received the item the 3m tape was already damaged since it comes in a roll. Which lead to it not sticking properly to roof rack ( yes I clean the bars properly prior). Definitely not work the $20 since they are coming off already.
