I bought this product because I wanted to take long exposure shots without having to a small blur due to vibration of camera shutter press. The work around is easy just put a 10 second delay after press however you have to hold the button and that's where the shake and blurriness comes from. So I decided to finally get a remote and it worked. I used the receiver to take the photo in this post and I love it. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because the controller holder clip broke the first time I tried taking it off my tripod. However I didn't even realize it had a controller holder till I got it so I don't really care. It does what I needed which was take pictures with a controller. It's easy to setup and the best part which is rare it came with batteries. Also the controller has wrist band to not drop it by accident. Exactly what I was looking for.

Item works as described. Worth the $$$ and would recommend over anything with IR. Great value.

I was worried that the receiver had to be connected to the camera’s flash hot shoe (not sure if that’s the right term) but it doesn’t. I let it hang down so I was still able to use the built in flash on my camera. Used this with my Canon Rebel T5 from around 2014 that doesn’t have Bluetooth capabilities. This was so useful for taking solo pics on my vacation. So easy to work with and set up, small enough to throw in your camera bag and not add any weight.

When I first got the shuttle remote the first thing I did when I got home put the camera on tripod put the remote on it and just see how well it worked. I was pleasantly surprised by when every time I hit the button the camera worked in the shutter went off as it is intended to Haven’t really had an option or chance to try the distance yet, but I do know that it works great from about 25 feet no issues

The description for this product specifically states that the units will work with the Olympus Mark IIIt does not. As you can see in my picture, the end of the cable labeled "camera side" does not match the type of tip needed for the Olympus as shown in the manual.My third picture shows the connection ports available on the camera. It needs an end that would fit into AV port ( as you can see in the picture from a online manual behind the cable I photographed in first picture)I did try it in the only connection that looked like it fit in the under the connection ports cover, but while it looks like the tip commonly used for mics, it does not fit in that port.This is a problem with buying an item from a company that makes one listing for different options, in this case different cameras. It isn't always clear if there are specific pictures for your camera.I have sent saying that other reviewers have had the same problem with Profezzion remote shutter and clearly the seller has not changed the listing to reflect the discrepancy.I bought mine too long ago to exchange, so I will chalk this up on my end to not testing the part immediately.You, however, should not trust this listing especially if you have an Olympus.
