USB adapter fo Synology NAS
Originally bought it for a NAS, but was very disappointed as it did not work. Reason for this was chip revision other than supported by DSM.Tested it on an older PC however, and it works very well. Connection stable, no frequent drops etc.

useful to speed up wifi on older n series laptop
i use this on an older dell XPS which had an old N card in it. it was cheap and it works great with both my work and home network. Had no issues with drivers. Windows 10 picked it up and installed drivers for it.

The best USB Wireless Adapter so far.
I have always had a problem with USB Wireless Adapters due ether to range and/or throughput. so I gave up for a while until this one came along.Good points:Excellent ranged on both bands.Excellent throughput due to the USB3.0 interface.Not so good pointsI found that I had to get Windows 10 to find a suitable driver to get it to work (there may be a better one from the D-Link web site.)I should of come with a stand and/or right angle adapter.

got this for the QNAP NAS, works great as a usb wifi on the nas

Dingle my Dongle that's fast
FAST as a fast thing on a fast day. connects to the AC1750 really easily and has a great connection. It does not like the 5 k connection though!

... extension cable so you can mount the dongle for best reception, works okay but not noticeably better over ...
Wireless AC dongle supplied with a 1m USB extension cable so you can mount the dongle for best reception, works okay but not noticeably better over G or N than the D-Link DWA-171 (but that was 38% better than my laptop native wireless) I will have to wait till my network is upgraded to AC
