Cheap DDR5 sticks
For the price, these ddr5 sticks are a good deal. They aren't the fastest sticks available. The CAS latency is somewhat high but they run faster than ddr4. The sticks don't feel cheap or flimsy. They popped right into my Asrock board and work wonderfully. My system runs very smooth even with the higher CL rating.

Good price & good fitment.
Good price and worked immediately without the 'fussiness' that AMD platforms sometimes show...

TEAMGROUP Elite DDR5 64GB Kit
It’s RAM. It works. The TEAMGROUP Elite DDR5 64GB kit doesn’t try to be anything it’s not, and I appreciate that. It’s DDR5, so yeah, it’s fast. If you’re upgrading from DDR4, you’ll notice the difference. 64GB is more than enough for multitasking or gaming, and it just does what it’s supposed to do without any weird issues.Installation is simple. It slots into the motherboard like it should, and once it’s in, you’re good. No drama, no troubleshooting. The design is basic, no RGB or anything fancy, but honestly, who cares? It’s memory. If you want lights, buy a strip.

One Bad Stick
Worked as intended for about three months. One stick died and wouldn't let the PC boot up with the bad stick installed. After switching to another slot same issue. After removing the suspected stick, PC booted normally.

Hynix IC?
As you may have noticed, the product title has "Hynix IC. SK Hynix is (as of this review) the best DDR5 manufacturer and leads in overclocking and high-clock speed RAM. This review is more based on kits from people I've helped get the best performance from the SK Hynix IC teamgroup elite (which includes single dimm versions). My original product when it came to me seemed to already be opened, so I had to return it.Teamgroups have been changing their kits around from M-DIE (best for Ryzen, can be tight for latency) to A-DIE (best for Intel high frequency, latency "compares" at high). The dual kits that I've seen so far have mostly been A-die and, on the rare occasion, M-die, as you can check by the labeling on the small chips on the ram (google the numbering X----). These sticks are great as you won't have to personally take heatsinks off of other kits, and you can use your own thermal pads. This allows you to functionally take control of your memory and keep it stable. Many companies working on DDR5 products are mishandling their products by not putting thermal pads on the PMIC (the DDR5 VRM Controller gets hot) and cheapening out on thermal tape, which causes your sticks to get hot over time and reduces their performance. For most people, if you are using an Intel system with a "decent" motherboard/cpu combo, you can probably get near 7000 mhz with some time tuning the numbers and voltages. I was able to get 8000 mhz stable through VST/TM5, for example, but your milage may vary.

Fine
Bought this on sale, they're fine for what they are, but if you use AMD (like me) it might have some stability issues and the occasional blue screen.

DOES ITS JOB.
I recently purchased the TEAMGROUP Elite DDR5 16GB Kit (2x8GB) 4800MHz, and overall, I’m quite pleased with its performance. The memory modules deliver excellent speed and stability, making multitasking and running demanding applications a breeze. However, I must mention that the aesthetic design of these RAM sticks leaves much to be desired. They lack the sleek, modern look that many other brands offer, which might be a downside for those who care about the visual appeal of their build.Despite this, the performance more than makes up for it. The installation was straightforward, and I haven’t encountered any issues with compatibility or functionality. If you’re looking for reliable DDR5 memory and can overlook the plain design, this kit is a solid choice.

excellent ram for getting into DDR5
DDR5 at this point in time, 02-26-2023, is still rather expensive compared to DDR4. If you have a motherboard that requires DDR5, this is an excellent kit to get you started until the prices for more performant DDR5 drops down to poverty levels. That being said, the kit does perform well in games if you're a casual player like myself, but if you love to chase the highest FPS, the kit may only serve as a stop-gap in your situation until, again, more performant stuff drops in price.I do specifically like the look of bare RAM modules as opposed to modules with heatsinks strapped on, gives a more computery look that I really enjoy. That being said, i will likely upgrade in the future, and these DIMMs will perform well as test DIMMs for test benches, but it will be a hard pressed decision, as there really is no reason to upgrade unless you're a professional gamer. Most people will do just fine on these types of low cost DIMMs while still looking amazing in the system.I have really come to trust team group as my source for RAM and SSD product source, nearly all my PCs use team group products for both the categories and they all run flawlessly.
