A word of caution: This is just the washer! You will need the engine unit too. But don't blame it on the seller - it's actually quite clear if you read the item description and do the minimum of research any buyer would be expected to do. I saw some low ratings were given by disappointed buyers because they had not gotten that fact and it's unfair in my opinion, since it's a very decent product.So I bought it together with the engine unit and it is THE BEST pressure washer EVER.Snaps right into the engine unit and has enough power to even strip the paint off my wooden patio (oops...).Can't tell you how many times I had to go over the same spot with my Karcher over the same spot.With this baby it's "fire and forget". When cleaning my stone terrace, I never had to do the same spot more than two times: Once to get the dirt off, a second time to wash it all away. Done.A friend borrowed the washer and he and his wife were amazed how their terrace looks once he was done (it literally had a different colour after three decades of dirt were removed).The engine unit is quite loud and it does vibrate quite a bit (fortunately, the skid marks could be removed with the pressure washer - I loved that part best: it cleans after itself...).

Great unit, easy to start nd an engine that puts out plenty of power.Engine is IMO quiet and runs well even when used for longer periods.Only qualm and reason for not giving 5 Stars, is the transport handle;this is not supported enough (only two wing nuts). As the unit is quite heavyI am sure this will not last long. Would have been easily reinforced, by justusing 4 wing nuts. The PTO units are easily mounted (Generator, Pressure washer)sliding onto the engine (note: best done at a downwards angle).Would highly recommend, especially as the general price of this unit has come downa lot over the past 12 months. Just be careful to compare the offers on amazon as there arequite big proces differences.This engine is slightly cheaper than the MITSUBISHI engine.I can't compare the two, as I have only owned this one.

The rating, tops because it is so easy to use, to start, to maintain.Like? Starting it. I have various hedge trimmers, chainsaws, strimmers, generators. All are ok but find I have to tweek to keep starting fine, even from new. This engine, no such problems after around 17 uses in the past three weeks. Takes next to no physical effort. That, combined with the fact it is multi-purpose with the add on units available makes it the most useful portable tool I have purchased in years. As for the 'Portable' bit, comes on a trolley with wheels and a handlebar to move it around with. I've made a lot of space in my van by using this with the add-ons as have cleared out the separate units I carried for each job. Wish I had seen it 20 years ago.Who would I recommend it to? Private lanscape gardeners. Small construction firms ( Guys, it will do everything). Private mobile car valeting companies. ( Looks professional, unlike your Karcher pressure washer, which of course you may have to ask if you can plug in.)

Dealings with Evolution Power Tools UK...Bought this for my business, first pull handle failed within 1 week then first wheel came off within one month then the second. Today the replacement pull handle came off again and has broken the plastic inside the mechanism. I've emailed the company today and asking for a replacement, did phone over two months back but they said needed to send item back and they would look at it and get back to me. I run a business, so asked for a replacement in the meantime... answer NO. This time I've no choice emailed them today and will arrange to send back, then I have to hire a pressure washer.Overall, great idea however quality and wheel design questionable .... A great unit and performs well and starts easily, just remember not to pull cord straight from bottom but let it catch and then pull

Used this to clear a ditch (as pointed out in other reviews, you must have the petrol engine that this plugs into).very easy to prime and great throughput.Please note that you also need to buy the impeller ridged hose(recommend about 5 meters and get the clear version so you can see the water starting to be sucked up) and the lay flat output host (I use a 15 meters output hose but it would be fine with 20+). You will also need to buy some strong jubilee clips as the ones that come with the pump probably won't compress the ridged hose enough for a seal.All in all, outstanding pump.

Bought this to replace one I bought about 5 years ago broke. I was using it continuously in my valeting business…. Accidentally left outside in a heavy frost forgetting to drain… that would kill any washer. Very powerful washer for its size. This engine is bought separately and can run a generator or a dirty water bump too!
