ZIMABLUE Yoke Steering Wheel for Tesla Model 3 2017-2023, Model Y 2019-2024 Steering Wheel with Heating Function Compatible with Tesla Model 3 Y

It looks great and it's possible to do it yourself. I am not a typical DIY person, but I followed the instructions and watched couple of videos online. Airbag was easy to dismount using tools provided. The toughest was loosening steering wheel bolt. It took a lot of effort. I ended up turning wheel completely to the left and then wiggling the bolt. Replacing module was easy although I managed to install it upside down first lol I really like that all tools where included. I considered a hardware store run for a power wrench but luckily, I didn't need to. Steering wheel looks nice and feels solid. It is well made using quality materials and looks and feels amazing.

I was a little apprehensive about installing it but it really was super easy. Took about an hour. I will say there were a couple of tough steps but I will give you some advice to help. The hardest part was "breaking" the bolt loose that holds the steering wheel in place. The yoke came with a tool but I just could not get it loose so I slapped the supplied tork head on my air gun and it came right out. The next tough part is getting the tiny screws off the scroll wheel housing. The set tried to incorporate a tiny tork screwdriver but it's not small enough. You will have to find and allen wrench that is very small. I don't know the exact size but I finally got it. After that, I had just a little trouble getting the old airbag cover off but wound up cutting the tabs and it came off easily then the new one just snaps over the tabs. Overall, the build quality is great! It looks and feels awesome and if you are on the fence, don't be.

It feels thick and robust. I like it better than original one. Was surprised that all necessary tools for installation were included. It has some hard plastic and does smell a bit out of the box, but who would really touch that plastic from behind.I think it’s superb in terms of quality.PS. Watch video instruction on how to install it.———Update after few months of use:Recently tried new model 3 with regular steering wheel. This yoke is awesome, it makes the car interior look futuristic. For these few months after yoke installation I used to it. Even U turns don’t bother me.I still wasn’t able to align it and it has few degrees of angle to the right but they are not noticeable much and car keeps lanes well. Rated it back from 4 to 5 stars.If you still have doubts, go for it. It will change your entire car experience.

First of all. This steering wheel is awesome. Having purchased 3 of them let me save you some time. TLDR; I have a Model Y built 08/2023, and it takes the old steering wheel design not the new one. If the holes in your wheel are on the sides like it shows in the picture you need the old design. I purchased the steering wheel while I was awaiting delivery of my Tesla. Then as I was reading and watching videos I saw there were two different kinds. I contacted support and they said if I have a Model Y 2022 and newer I bought the wrong wheel. So I returned it and bought one for models 2022 and newer. Then my Tesla arrived. I took the wheel off. By the way, this brand comes with all the tools you need. The other brand I bought for the “newer model” had no tools and was like $100 more expensive. So I took the wheel off and as I was trying to install the new one I realized it appears Tesla went back to the old design with the airbag release holes on the side, not underneath. So I put the wheel back on, exchanged the new one, and repurchased this one that is for “older models” yea you have to take the airbag and buttons out of your existing wheel but it took me all of 20 mins to swap out. This new wheel is awesome, looks amazing and feels very high quality. I’m really impressed. Before you purchase, do yourself a favor and look at where the airbag release holes are as you might need to buy the older wheel design for your new Tesla.

After installing the new Yoke steering wheel on my Tesla 2023 Model Y the alignment of the wheel was a bit to the right and all my safety features were disabled. Tesla wouldn't help fix it since it's aftermarket and I couldn't find any Mod Shops that would help, had to go back to old steering wheel.

Love the way it looks. The feel of it is so good especially when I’m driving. Aesthetically, my model y looks way better with this product. I had an issue with the first yoke they sent me because the holes on the side were missing but comes the best part of this product, customer service. They immediately sent me a new one and gave me some $$ off for the trouble. For me, that’s going above and beyond, exceptional. I highly recommend to give this product a try.
