The menu is a little fiddly at first, but once set up (I'm using it for scanning pages of old books) it works a treat. If the left margin (by the binding) is a bit tight, the instructions reccomend reversing the scanner and scanning from the bottom up - the page can then be rotated in the readiris software - this works very well and is straightforward. All in all, a great little scanner.

Seems a little plasticky’, but it does the job, somewhat better than other similar products.VERY sparse instructions, but there is an excellent manual online.Only real drawback is the seeming lack of support for Apple OSX. However the Support given, if you ask, is in my case good (although I did have to point out the link he gave me was for another brand of computer (.exe file) and would not work on a Mac. Next day the correct link was sent.

inpressed by the quality of the scan for a mobile system and of course can be transported where one wants to use it.

Software download and registration etc easy but product itself very difficult to use and for some reason could only scan a book from binding to edge. Very clumsy to use and rollers did skid on all types f paper,, Sorry we gave this a good try but cannot reccomend

Good portable scanner , quick to use saves using my large scanner.

While it worked, it was amazing, however, having bought this in 2019, and scanned around 3000 pages, I now have a 6cm-wide black bar on the right of every document.The amazing customer service team tried to help, but the verdict is that pixels in the Scan Sensor have gone dead.Not repairable (and obviously out of warranty after 4 years), so only option is to replace. Given the purchase price, I definitely expected this to last much longer.

I needed a portable scanner for business and thought his might be the answer. Small, multifunction buttons were awkward to use and needed a lot of experimentation to us the interface correctly. But happy with the results until it stopped working about a year after purchase. It was not used that much but now reports any card inserted as full.

If this is used for scanning sheets of paper or photos then it is very easy to use. Using it for books where it's difficult to get the page flat is a bit of a technique to master to ensure the scans are readable. Also, if you think you will always have access to the connecting wire to load the scans onto your pc then I wouldn't bother paying the extra for the wifi facility.
