WORKS if you don't over-condition your hair. Do not condition to the roots, and this product will work for you. I have fine, blond hair and it's working so well that a few days between washes and I still have height at the top and depth at the sides. I love it. I comb wet hair forward from the crown and spray the roots, then part from the side a little above the ears, spray, another part, spray, and repeat to the other side. Then finger-comb before air drying for a time, then hitting with the round brush and blow dryer on low. I also use hot rollers for volume and texture that lasts for days. Just hit the hair with the rollers next day. You could skip the air drying and hot rollers and still have great results. Rusk products are great.

I have this on subscription. I use it on wet hair under salt spray (the salt spray is called Pedro and Pete something like that) and this combination gives my hair decent volume and some body. My hair is soft and fine so these 2 work wonders for me. Doesn’t leave hair crunchy, smells nice and doesn’t make my hair greasy. I spray on wet hair then spay the salt spray then blow dry. Works great!

Worked well but a bit sticky.

This is an amazing product. Has a light fragrance, but I immediately noticed a difference when I was blow drying my hair. It dried more quickly and it gave it a nice lift and feels wonderful. So glad I found it. Thank you.

This made my hair dull with no shine

I have naturally straight, baby fine hair. It was a problem until my late 50s when my volume thinned out. If i dont blow dry then my hair just lies flat. So, I have been using highlights to help fill out the texture. Even still, other products like powders and dry shampoos leave my hair feeling sticky or dull the shine. Normally I keep John Frieda products on hand. We all know our hair needs to change products as build-up happens and we don't get the same results. I did like the resulting effects of this spray on my style. I towel dry as much as possible, then lift sections of hair and spray lightly. Directing towards the scalp, without wetting or over spraying. I then used my fingers to press and squeeze it into the hair before drying with my usual style. I have a short blunt Bob cut that I like to keep movement in.I will see how extended use goes.
