TP-Link AX6000 Wi-Fi 6 Router (Archer AX80) – Dual Band, 2.5 Gbps WAN/LAN Port, 8K Streaming,Wireless Internet Router with OneMesh and AP Mode, Long Range Coverage, WPA3, Beamforming

Was looking at several options for a new router when I was looking to replace my Asus due to age and just being outdated. I chose this one based on reviews about how good the coverage was and could handle a large number of devices. I can tell you the reviews were correct. All wifi relayed problems I had before with security cameras losing signal are gone. I now have very good wifi speed to every corner of my home. Better device connectivity and security. This is a very nice router and it's super easy to get up and running. If you are running older devices or cameras that use the 2.4 network this router will impress you and likely solve and connection issues your having.

Setup was easy and I replaced a 10yr old Linksys. It more than doubled my speed. Range increased 20%. I like the 6e wireless band as it automatically selects the bands for my smart equipment and reserves the faster band for my kids gaming. I did have to reprogram all my smart tech to recognize the new router but that is not a defect on the router. I have 30 devices and its running without any issues and at very nice speeds.

I had intermittent problems of every kind with multiple generations of Velop routers. Including issues with cameras loading quickly. I'm going to tell you what I wish someone had told me years ago. Buy a router with AT LEAST 1148 Mbps on the 2.4 Ghz band. This means it has 4x4 streams. (Most routers are only 2x2 on the 2.4GHz band and most cameras are still on 2.4GHz at this point.)This router is the best deal on a 1148 Mbps router I could find, that was also a major brand, on Amazon. It works flawlessly. The setup was quick and easy as well. The QR code didn't work so I had to manually enter the connection data, but that took less than a minute. All my WiFi problems? GONE.This router should work for you. The price is right as well. It blows much more expensive routers out of the water. Buy it, you won’t regret this purchase.Edit: It’s been almost 6 months, still no issues. Every router-related problem we used to have is gone. Fantastic router.

The product works great. Only issue is with Amazon. They sent me a used product when I ordered a new one. Box was damaged and covered with duct tape to close. The router a minor damage on the antenna. And was completely missing the instructions. It took a bit to setup once I figured out the router already had a password. I had to factory reset it in order to get it to work. So luckily I got it all setup. Just annoyed that they are reselling used products as new.

Purchased new router from Amazon. Recvd router in perfect condition. The QUICK SETUP Guide is clear and precise with photos as guide. I followed the SETUP Guide precisely.... It's very simple. I could not get the router to broadcast internet wifi signal even though the router informed me I had inbound wifi to the router. So I started again from beginning.... Still no broadcasted wifi. I attempted to contact support. THERE IS NO SUPPORT. no phone number just written chat. Chat dropped twice by support member which infuriated me. So I walked away from the installation and started again a 3rd time an hour later. This is a plug N play basic set up..... 3rd time it worked after completing the same process. Also the app (required to download) is a little squirrley. After 2.25 hours I completed installation that should have been 15 minutes at most. Be patient with the install. Another thing is once completely installed and you attempt to connect to the new wifi signal REBOOT your DEVICES (phone, TVs, computer, laptop, etc). I have 4 big screen tvs, 2 laptops. 5 tablets.... None would connect without rebooting each device. (this could be a normal procedure I don't know). The great thing is the wifi signal strength and speed is fantastic. Speed is 148mbps to 151mbps consistently everywhere in my home. Follow the instructions on where to place the router. I placed my router 8 feet up on top of an large hutch. I think that helps the signal strength.

Great router! Easy to set up and very powerful! Easy app to use from your phone also. Has a strong signal, but look at it. Ha! It’s the router from the Game of Thrones!
