Alex Cramer Spinner Domino Set. Caramel Leather Case - Professional Tournament Traveler Domino Set - with Spinners - 28 Indestructible Double Six Dominoes

I’m very pleased with this set. We haven’t played yet, but when you open the box, it is in elegant wrapping and is obviously a quality product as you unwrap it. It comes with play instructions and everything you would want. The leather case looks and feels like the best you can get. A great value for the price. One complaint: I wanted a set that was 100% made in AMERICA. I googled Alex Cramer games and it stated that their Domino sets were 100% “assembled” in the USA” but when you open the set, the cribbage board has a sticker saying “made in CHINA” and the Dominoes themselves have a sticker saying “made in TAIWAN”. The only thing I can figure is that the beautiful case is AMERICAN made, but the rest of the set isn’t. Maybe there are no dominoes made in America, but I was disappointed to find out that the entire set wasn’t 100% AMERICAN. I think the way they say 100% assembled in the USA” is misleading. Still, a really nice product and I would recommend it.

These tournament sized tiles are beautiful to look at and feel great in the hand. They almost call out saying "take me out of the box and play with me." And so I do.

Beautiful set of dominoes! I own numerous sets from different manufacturers and I can attest that Alex Cramer's dominoes are the best of the lot. These tournament size dominoes are large and thick, a bit thicker than the 7/16" noted and that helps them stay upright and rock steady when playing. The black pips are also larger than some and are well done and proportionate to this size domino. The smooth leather box they come in reeks of quality, down to the stitching and magnetic latches. The walnut stained cribbage board is a nice accessory to the set so you don't have to look for that pad of paper and a pencil to keep score when playing Five Up. This Traveler's Set is priced just right and will probably last a lifetime. Alex Cramer will even replace a damaged domino free of charge whenever you need one. Highly recommended.

I ordered this as a special gift. I chose the leather with the personalized monogram. I received it today and decided I am ordering another one tonight for another gift. I gifted my father this domino set since he is an avid player and he LOVED it. It is truly worth the money, the quality of the product is in another league to other sets that he has owned in the past. Plus, they come with a guarantee for lost or damaged pieces. If you know anyone that likes dominoes this is a wonderful gift that anyone would be happy to receive. Also, the set comes in a beautiful case which only adds to how special the product is. I can't praise this enough.

Pro's: You won't be sorry you purchased this set. The Dominos were exactly what I was looking for. They are large (tournament size) and do not have the spinner bead in the middle. It is very difficult to find Dominoes any more without the spinner bead. The case is very nice and the leather is soft and feels good in the hands.Con's: The Cribbage board is small. In my opinion, the Cribbage board should be the exact same dimensions as the Domino's (as they are stacked and sitting in the case). Also, the case is a bit oversized and could be made more compact. The Domino's float inside the case and being advertised as a "Traveling" set, I would like to see the case made as small as possible - to a dimension that just fits the stacked Domino's and Cribbage board.
