Love this, it's so easy that my 4yo can use it (once we fitted it, obviously! Which took ten seconds). He uses it every day when when I walk & he scoots to school - he loves pressing the button, pulling out the wire & plugging it in the other hole. All I do is set the code & change it once he's done.When buying it, I had concerns that I may not be able to set the code as I have disabled hands that aren't the best for fine motor tasks, but it's been fine to change even then.

Great idea and fits the scooter really well. Easy to use but the plastic cover is missing from the box so the screws are on show. Can this be sent out?

I followed the instructions, I've set up the code and it just keeps getting stuck. I can't unlock it at all, even after I put the code in...the buttons are not working and can't release the cable. There are absolutely no instructions on how to deal with this problem. Not worth the money. Good concept but rubbish overall.

My daughter (4) has a bike and a scooter which she uses all the time (not simultaneously!) to go to pre-school, the shops, swimming pool etc and I found it frustrating that we couldn't easily leave them outside without carrying quite a large and heavy 'traditional' bike lock with us.Having done some looking around I came across these scoot locks and ordered two. They are amazing! Attach permanently to the bike/scooter. Light so they don't cause a burden and small enough to not get in the way. The cable is coiled up inside the body of the plastic case - just pull it out, wrap round a railing, click into the opposite side and scramble the lock. To release, enter the code, pop the cable out and press the button to retract the cable. So easy! The cable is quite long.The only criticism I have is that the fitting instructions aren't clear enough and it is fiddly to fit (few tips - the small oval plate at the back has to be popped out to reveal the screw holes. Second practice assembling the lock before attaching to the scooter/bike - the threads are rough and assembling first loosens that. Third the factory code is 0000 - to change twist the dials whilst holding down the tiny round button (no where on the packet does it tell you that!))A bit pricey but worth it in my opinion.

Did the job, my 5 year old daughter can use it with ease.

I have bought 2. One works perfectly 6 months now. Another one prone to error regularly. Not sure how many times we had an issue to unlock and lock it after 111 times of setting up. The metal cable comes out well, but after use it doesn't always come back together, sometimes it's even difficult to wind it into a reel and instead of the pressing the button, we have to push it step by step inside. This problem with cable occurs in both locks.P.s. use our scooters everyday for commuting to school. So I won't recommend it for constant usage.

A great idea to keep my son’s scooter safe, but the quality is not what I’d hoped.He struggles to change the numbers by himself as they are stiff, and retracting tge cable gets stuck.My son often doesn’t use it for fear of not being able to unlock it.A bit disappointing for the cost.
