Just Dance 2 (Wii)

Just dance 2 for the Wii is the best way to get fit after having a baby, with no time to go to the gym and money is tight being on maternity leave… this is a fun way to get your heart rate up in the privacy of your own home. Highly recommend!

I got Just Dance 4 for the Wii for Christmas, and enjoyed it so much had to get Just Dance 2. The game involves dancing to songs and performing moves like shown by the character on the screen with the Wii remote in your right hand. You get points for timing and how much energy you put into the moves, but getting high scores is only part of the fun.This is a great game to play with friends or family as you can all laugh as your trying to pull off the moves as shown on screen, somehow in your head you think you are doing it better than you look! Just remember to try and do all the leg movements as well as this makes the whole experience even more fun. It also helps with you in getting a workout.I like the fact as well that more than one person can take part at a time with multiple controllers so you can both try and out dance each other, or in some cases take part in a duet, which can be very funny, just make sure you have plenty of room.The game play in this version seems to be not as accurate as Just Dance 4, with some hand movements not registering as well, but this does not take away from the fun at all. The song choices are very good, with lots of different types of music from pop, rock, world, hip-hop, 80s, 70s, 90s with a few more recent artists, there are also some real cheesy tunes like Bony M - Rasputin, or the classic 80s tune Walk Like An Egyptian, great fun for those who grew up in the 80s.The styling and graphics of the game are good for the Wii, but I don't think they matter that much for this type of game.

This is good fun for all ages

Way back in January I, like most "overweight" and unhappy with it people made a New Years resolution to TRY and lose weight, try being the optimum word. Three weeks into the new ME diet and I got bored. My son offered to loan me his Wii console and Wii sports games. These were a giggle but after a while I got bored trying to hit a baseball out of a Stadium. I was also disheartened that according to the program my fitness age was 75!!! [I am 34] I had always loved dancing as a teenager so decided to try the Just Dance 1 game. LOVED IT so much so that I also purchased Just Dance 2 and loved that even more. I can honestly say that over the past three months I have lost over 2 stone in weight and not by dieting either. I can not wait for the kids to leave the house. I close the curtains, turn up the volume on the TV and dance to some great tunes until I can't dance no more :-) I have since purchased Just Dance 3, Michael Jackson and Just dance 2 The extra songs. ALL excellent too. I personally love the "Just Sweat" program on Just Dance 2 and extra songs. You set your own fitness level. I started off on just 300 sweat points a day and now I am up to 4000 using Just Dance 2 in the mornings before work and Just dance 2 extra songs in the evening. You score points for how accurate you match the dancers moves on the screen so you try to do better each time!I would totally recommend this to anyone who loves dancing, or needs to shift a few pounds without having to diet [or both]!

We played Just Dance 1 last year, so I offered Just Dance 2 to my girls for Christmas. They are 7 and 10. It was a sneaky move: I bought it for them, and that gives us parents the perfect excuse to play with them.The controls are fantastic: you hold the Wii remote, and try to follow the dance on the screen. It is as easy as that. Just Dance 2 has about 40 songs to choose, and there is a clever mix of modern tracks and older ones throughout the last 40 years so that anyone can find something to please them. There is the possibility of acquiring more songs.But the best is that this is such a lot of fun. In our household there is now a fairly healthy competition as to who can rock the songs best. Any self-consciousness about throwing some shapes in front of your TV will very quickly go straight out of the window, particularly once you realise that it's by executing the moves as flamboyantly as possible that you pick up the points.For what it's worth, it's my 7 year-old daughter who is wiping the floor with the rest of us....

This is a brilliant game for the Wii.The user interface is simple and effective and the backgrounds whilst on a song are really fun and clever, the neon dancers look great too.The dance battle mode is very fun as well with; Simon says, race, duet, medely and dance.Simon says is basically having to spin, clap or stop when told too which is my faviout.Race is who can get to 4000 points firstMedley is 5 songs that switch randomly. So you could be dancing to Monster Mash and it will change to Wham.I will warn you though!! this game has NO PRATICE MODE or anything to get you started up. You just jump straight into the dance. So don't be disheartened if you can't do it at first.Over all this game is a must have for any party with it's 8 player function and is a great game for all ages. Even if you have two left feet you will find this game fun and addictive!

I bought this game after seeing the hey ya dance routine on YouTube. The main purpose of me buying it was for exercise, however when I've bought it I've also found this game to be incredibly fun to play on your own or with friends as well as being an excellent workout.There's a wide variety of songs to choose from ranging from Tina Turner to wham! I enjoy all the songs in this game but I would say its more a family game.Overall it does the purpose I bought it for and is also great fun too! An excellent product for just yourself or others!

I ordered this item as a gift, not only has it arrived without any protective wrapping on the game, checking the disc itself there are numerous usage scratches on the disk!
