COOL sign. I do a podcast out of my garage. It keeps anyone from just walking in. I’m going to order a long usb cable, because I don’t have high hopes that the batteries will last that long. MUCH cooler than a “do not disturb” door knob card.

Killed the first pair of AA batteries after being run for about 15minutes.Tossed an old portable usb power pack behind it and connected it to USB-C power and it's much brighter than the AAs ever had it. Doesn't seem to be killing that power pack quickly, either.Remote has great range - we're using it on a second floor balcony and triggering it from downstairs, about 25 feet away but within line of sight. It doesn't seem to matter if you point the remote directly at it, though.

This sign looks awesome.

So far, it's exactly as advertised. Bright and attention-getting, but not headache-inducing. It works from a nearby room. The remote does NOT have to be pointed at it. I was worried that you'd have to be in the same room like many infrared TV remotes. That would completely defeat the purpose for me. And I was pleased to find out that is not the case. So this must be an RF remote, not IR, which is what you would want in this case. The lighted sign is just the right size. I haven't tried it with batteries because that also seems to defeat the purpose. You can plug it into an old USB wall wart, which is nice. I have some of those that I don't use for my phone anymore because they're so slow. But they work fine for this! Bonus!

As others have posted, when I plugged it in nothing worked. I tried a different cord and bingo! So other than that, it’s great! It’s also very light, so Velcro would also work to attach it to things.

The sign worked perfectly for my classroom studio. The remote made it easy to control the light from the our control room.
