Impressive Writing
Now that they do not teach Cursive handwriting in school, my grandson was embarrassed that his handwriting look like chicken scratch that was unreadable. He hated turning in his homework. I saw this on Amazon and bought it for him. It was amazing how well he took to writing his letters, then writing sentences. He is now so proud of his writing. I suggest this to anyone that wants to improve their writing skills

Helped me get my cursive looking better
After going through this book, im pretty confident in my cursive handwriting. I hadnt written in cursive in 25 years so I was a bit rusty. With everything being digital these days, I wanted it to look nice and presentable when I had to write something by hand.I leave the book on my desk with a pen and during boring work meetings I go over the exercises. There is a LOT of stuff in this book so after a few months of owning it im only around 1/3 of the way through, but my handwriting has already improved dramatically. I've even had other people compliment me on my handwriting which has never happened in my life.It was a bit hard to get through the first section because you just repeat a single letter over and over again for half a page, but once I moved onto the words, it was a lot more enjoyable. Some of the ways they decided to teach the letters is a bit weird. The lower case r is essentially half a letter and some of the letters, such as a lower case y, they force you to connect at the top instead of flowing from the bottom which would be a little cleaner in my opinion. The paper is pretty cheap and thin. I'm using a fountain pen and the ink feathers a lot and has a little bit of bleed through (but not enough to bother me)Overall, this book does the job of helping you learn cursive. I like reading through the quotes too because theyre pretty wise.

Improving your handwriting is easy and relaxing.
I got this to try to improve my hand writing which has declined in quality (and readability) over the years due to the increased use of computers and speech recognition technology. I discovered that I had forgotten how to begin some of the letters, especially the lesser used capitals. I We don’t have to do much hand writing anymore but if I need to I don’t want there to be any question about what I wrote. Not only has this helped me get back to readable writing but I find it very pleasant and relaxing. I often take it when I’m flying somewhere to pass the time waiting to get on the plane and during the flight for entertainment. I have little interest in the inflight “entertainment “offered on planes and the constant announcements are very annoying. This makes for a nice distraction, disturbs no one and is easy to take along. Take lots of pencils. Good deal for the money.

Quality, not a cheap throwaway.
Most books like this are using lightly printed pages, as well as thin pages, The paper itself is pretty sturdy and a good weight behind it, I have been using it to copy the pages and am able to work with them not having the problem of light ink print where making a copy to use at home is causing issues.

My college students are going to learn to sign their name!
It’s so sad as a college educator to see that students today do not know cursive and can’t sign their name in a professional manner. I teach a business communication course and have had students ask if they could learn to sign their name “pretty like their parents”. So in addition to interviewing skills, resume writing, and other assorted skills, I’m adding cursive writing! Not everything is signed electronically, and reading past historical documents (even your great grandmother’s recipes!) are impossible for this generation. The education system has not done our students a favor by eliminating this skill.

Excellent Book
I learned cursive many years ago, but have printed most of my life. I wanted to get back to writing cursive, and this book is wonderful. I like the examples and the number of times you practice letters/words. Honestly, the book offers a calming practice. Highly recommended for others who want to get back to cursive again.

Basic Handwriting and a weirdly bound book.
Well, if you're on a quest for a cursive handwriting book that's like Shakespearean calligraphy meets unicorn doodles, I hate to break it to you, but this ain't it. Instead, it's like a blast from the past, reminiscent of those good ol' second-grade handwriting classes where you were probably more interested in drawing smiley faces on your 'o's than perfecting your loops. Now, some folks out there are calling it clunky, and honestly, I'm standing here nodding in agreement. It's like trying to rewrite your destiny with a pen, and the book is giving you a serious arm workout. I mean, who knew rehabilitating your handwriting could feel like you're lifting weights at the same time? Someone call the fitness gurus; we've got a new trend on our hands! And let's talk about that thick binding. It's like the book is saying, "You WILL relearn cursive, and you WILL struggle with me!" Okay, it doesn't say that. It's practically a wrestling match between you and the book, and right now, my money is on the book. But fear not, intrepid scribe, because our reviewer here had an ingenious solution: pages out, problem solved! It's like performing surgery, but instead of saving lives, you're rescuing pages from a gluey ribbing. And apparently, they come out so cleanly that you'd think they've just been to the spa for a rejuvenating treatment. So, if you're ready to embark on a journey filled with second-grade nostalgia, bicep workouts, and surgical page extractions, this might just be the cursive adventure you never knew you needed. Happy writing, brave scribe!
