OSCO Clear Acrylic Very Small Bookends, ABE-2

Excellent product. Lightweight, but sturdy and one of the best features are the tiny silicone (or rubber) feet on the base which prevent slippage and keeps it stable. Being of acrylic it is unobtrusive and virtually unnoticeable, which was my preference for its location (kitchen windowsill to hold cookery books) so Nigella, Jamie and Nigel et al are cosily and neatly lined up instead of falling off the top of the microwave. A really good quality item which I would thoroughly recommend for its quality and, in my case, its unobtrusiveness. It is also goodvalue for the price.

Very good quality and value. Neat, unobtrusive, sturdy, capable of handling much larger books than one might think - helped, I think, by the neat little slip-free feet. Definitely would buy again and recommend to pals.

The book ends arrived well packaged (each item is a pair). I'm pleased with the material, it's completely clear and good quality. The corners are nicely rounded and there are squidgy dots on the bottom to reduce movement and ensure there's no scratching.I ordered a few as I'm actually using them as drawer dividers for A5 sized filing (as shown in the attached photo) and they are performing well for this. As they're small, I imagine there's a maximum size of books they can comfortably hold up. I'd say they're just about ok with A5 upright (the pink spiral notebook). I personally wouldn't use them for anything bigger unless I was adding some kind of weight to them.

I needed something to stop my kids' books from toppling over on a tiny shelf and this does the job perfectly whilst being fairly inconspicuous. I used the other one to hold up my cookbooks in the kitchen cupboard so now they don't keep falling over either! The little rubber feet ensure that the bookends stay put and because the books sit on the bottom part it hides away neatly.

They need to go under books to actually support them. If bottom faces out as in photo the books slide and aren’t secure
