INDMEM USB to SAS Converter, SAS Adapter SAS/SATA Hard Drive Reader Enclosure Docking Station for 2.5/3.5 inch HDD SSD with 12V/2A Power Support up to 18T

I've tried the cheap solo connectors and none worked, because they did not have any SAS conversion controller/board for regular pc's. This one does and works, tested with 8x HGST 8TB SAS drives + 3TB SATA. Though I am only reaching 65-85MB/s sustained write on average which is poor, it may work better with a higher speed cable than the one provided but I can't test that right now. But those speeds will be alright for no rush storage. Another brand I have seen running at 200mb/s reviewed on youtube is unavaible, so this was the pick. Main plus point, it works and despite being an ungodly pricy version of the SATA docks - If you got a bunch of free SAS, it saves you money. (All I had to do was either diskpart clean/new volume or delete manged pools to reset a used RAID SAS drive)

This product not only accepts SAS drives, but also SATA drives will work in it also... Tried and tested. Only let down not a USB-C Connection for the speed upgrade link.. That's why it lost a star.
