Having trouble with Laptop plugged into Hi FI, the HDMI out is faulty so have to use USB sound out, but with the power plug in there is much noise, this has eliminated it.

Ok, so I have a badly behaved device emitting RFI across the cables by my speakers.This box should uncouple the audio from the existing ground to stop the RFI from getting to the audio amplifiers.I've choked off most cables with ferrites to be on the safe side, this has reduced the noise by a lot.However, when I plug this in to remove the remaining, the noise actually triples in volume.Terrible.Avoid like the plague.

This product solved my specific issue which was a ground loop from my computer to my dac. My only gripe is that it seems to take around 5 or so db from the base of my music however I was able to eq this out on the speaker side. I would recommend this to solve grounding issues however this will not solve any other type of problem. The case is iron or steel so you can use a magnet to stick it to things or the built in skrew holes can be used for more permanent mounting.

I was hoping this product will resolve my issue as I have tried many with mixed results. Don't get me wrong, it works for eliminating ground loop noise but it does also reduces the sound output. I have no choice but to return it.

The media could not be loaded. Work's great I bought two of them different makes on the video it shows the other make pluged in because I tried the other last and just left it in but they are as good as eachother.

Useless piece of equipment didn't make any difference if anything it made sound quality worse!!!

I bought a Car Audio Noise Isolator Filter because I was having alternator noise and other noise coming through my speakers. It worked a treat! Now I can only hear the tunes, which is what I wanted. This filter is easy to install and does the job well.

I tried it out in a music mix setup to kill the hum from one of the devices; all it did was take out some of the bass. I attached a guitar pedal after this in a series, and it created a load of noise - I thought at first it was a faulty pedal, but found it was the noise filter creating the noise… the irony! I solved the original hum anyway, so I returned this while being left clueless of whether it really does anything!
