AlcoDigital AL7000 Digital Breathalyser with Replaceable Sensor

I have used this several times and it has been spot on.

I'm from Australia and we measure in BAC not mg/l so would have liked to option to toggle between conversions. Hoping if I buy a sensor from here it will automatically do the BAC conversion and be compatible.

I am uncertain as to whether this actually works as readings always 00 morning after quite a few drinks and I’m not sure about the mouth pieces. When do you replace these as it doesn’t tell you in the instruction manual.My contents state I should have a pouch to keep it in which I haven’t therefore please send!Reading a review from a traffic cop who thought it accurate it makes you question the ones they use as who’s to say they are accurate however they back it up with a blood test but then this one would be a waste of time, who knows?

Bought this for checking drivers before they go to work.Works well and don’t have to send it away to be calibrated

Do not buy this breathalyser under any circumstances. The first device registered zero reading with 1 pint of lager (a fail under the new Scottish drink drive laws) and when I had taken more it showed a level where I was just over the new limit but below the current UK limit. I had drunk 1 bottle of beer and four large glasses of wine!!!!! The second device I got when I exchanged it simply read zero after 1 pint!!!It is clearly not fit for purpose and I will now look for a device that I can rely on, certainly not an Alcoscan product.

Easy to use, and seemed well made, but the reading were hopelessly inaccurate. In tests, it consistently underestimated the amount I had drunk.Sky high reading while drinking or immediately after (the instructions warn you of this, and say to wait) soon drop away. Generally gave me the all-clear (0.000) within just a few hours of drinking six units or more. Never registered any alcohol the morning after, even drinking as many as 20 units during the evening.Dangerous if relied upon for driving etc. - surely the only reason anyone would want one.

Lovely compact machine, but I am really confused as to how to read this machine - AL 7000. Should I be looking for the limit to be 0.35 mg/ or .80 mg/l? Too many contradictions when reading other reviews.
