Very Fun!
I'm only half way through this build and I have to say it is super fun. It is super small with tiny pieces. My expectations were very low when I ordered this but I liked the challenge of so many small pieces and I must say I am impressed so far. The pieces fit nicely, **(Except for the trees. Those are very poorly designed and don't stay together, so a person has to fit them differently than instructions show.)** I was missing a few pieces from the first set of bags but enough extra's were available to make the needed shape block. I do think the kit was planned this way and not a quality control thing. there are TONS of extra pieces. The instructions are completely pictorial and seem difficult at first, but once you get used to it, they are very easy to follow, just a bit hard to see. So.. Things you will need to make your build go smoother:Magnifying Glass, Tweezers, Pocket knife (To help lift miss-placed pieces) Good lighting and a hard surface to work on AND OVER! pieces are so small, you will NEVER find some of them in carpet and you can hear them hit a hard floor. I use jigsaw puzzle trays to hold and sort pieces and it's working well. These micro bricks are quite different than the BIG brand as nothing beats the BIG brand, but as far as the fun factor, they are just as fun and I will certainly buy more!

Challenging but fun
I really enjoyed this build. The instructions could be hard to read at times but you get used to it. The light kit didn't work. So surprisingly cheap for the amount of design work and hours of enjoyment I got out of it. I may do one again in the future but it will be a while. I ended up putting many hours into it. There are extras of some pisses but not of others. And the sorting of the pieces aren't very well done so I had to constantly go through a pile of very tiny pieces looking for that one that I needed. So I would only recommend to someone looking for a truly challenging build

Make sure you read the full description these are MICRO LEGOS
So it’s my bad I didn’t read the description fully no these but they are very small. Other than that when I got them I got to about step 15 and was missing a crucial piece to the set. I emailed the company and was sent a replacement days later. I started working on it again and got to another step where the instructions are incorrect and I could not complete the set due to that. Due to those reasons I would not recommend anyone buying this set.

Looks pretty but does not stay together
Doesn't stay together to save it's life!!!! I was so excited for this, since I enjoy Japanese theme things but when I tried to put all the pieces together they just kept breaking off and not connecting right!!! Ive never been so angry or frustrated with something more than this set in my entire life

Beautiful but instructions, not clear.
It's beautiful set and my bf loved this gift but it has a lot of tiny pieces and the instructions aren't really clear on where everything goes so it can be a bit tricky

Better than Expected
I went into this project with a lot of doubts in my mind due to the other reviews. Namely the difficult directions and missing pieces.Yes, the directions are a little complicated at times. This set has you place down at minimum five pieces at a time, and at most nearly thirty. However, considering the amount of pieces for this set, it kind of needs to be that way, since I doubt it'd be any better to use a thousand pages of directions instead of only a hundred. Like an on-brand lego set, there are no words. It's a picture book of directions. If that is disheartening to you, don't even try. For me, however, I've been building legos since I was seven, so it was a walk in the park. For the missing pieces - I had none. I had every piece I needed, and lots of extras. I genuinely believe that since the pieces are so tiny and easy to lose, that the people who are saying they were missing pieces were only missing them because they rolled away during the making of their project, which is very VERY likely. These pieces are very tiny. If you misplace a piece, you are not going to be able to take it out unless you have tweezers, a strong grip, and dry hands (It was hot in my room when I built this, which made it difficult sometimes). If you've built legos in the past, these pieces are probably *at least* half the size of the on-brand ones. If you have big hands, you may need to use the tweezers while placing down the pieces too. This is an insanely good deal for a lego set, however. On brand lego sets would usually sell for $400+ with this amount of pieces, so getting it for a tenth of that is insanely rare, however, like I said before, these pieces are also a lot smaller. The pieces do have a hard time sliding together, however, that is part of it's quirks - some of the pieces you can slide down a couples pegs even after you've already placed it down. You do have to be quite particular with how you place it, or else sometimes other pieces won't fit in. Just try pushing the piece blocking the way to the side a little. This lego is quite beautiful. I was unable to add the string light part to my set because I was crying hysterically at how much it was bothering me and getting in my way. I'm sure it's beautiful with it in there, but I do not plan on taking this set apart to fix that. This set comes with 14 bags total - one having the light fixture, one having small characters you have to put together, and the rest being for pieces. Despite that, however, you will use at minimum three bags at a time for each section. It's not that difficult, but do make sure you have an empty table during the making of your set.One MAJOR thing I beg anyone who takes on this challenge to pay attention to: the last step of the second bags. As you can see, there's a floating island as part of the set. You must Absolutely make sure that you connect the bottom of the large piece and the top correctly. Make sure you check every side to make sure yours is matching up the same. Do not be like me, where I put them on wrong and a bunch of pieces started falling off, making me restart (and losing 6 hours of progress at least).Another thing, once the floating island is attached to the waterfalls, it is not very stable. Do not trust those waterfalls to hold it up. My island fell off three times while trying to place down some flowers. Oops. This set took me 7 days to build, and I'm currently on summer vacation. I timed myself and it took me over 24 hours as a lego building veteran. It will take you longer if your sight isn't great, or your hands are big, or you have a hard time understanding the instructions. If that discourages you, don't even try.The detail in this set is great, and it really is beautiful. there are lots of small sides and shapes that make the set look nice and almost realistic.Overall, I enjoyed this. I do not suggest working on this past 10pm. You will make a bunch of mistakes and get frustrated and cry, like me!
