Levy's M8P3-XL-BLK 3-inch Polypropylene Guitar Strap X-Long - Black

To All You LP Players!
This is not the prettiest of guitar straps - no siree - but it is possibly the most comfortable strap that I have so far come across for my rather heavyweight LP.It certainly is well made and this, being Extra Long, my 6'4" frame is easily accomodated and I could easily have it drop as far down as my knees a la Jimmy Page! So, for all you LP players out there - if you are looking for a functional, cheap and very comfortable strap for your prized guitar, you'll go an awful long way to beat this Levy's Strap!

Great strap for heavy guitars and long gigs.
Playing 3hr gigs with a LP can be a strain on the shoulder - these 3" straps really help spread the load and make it much more comfy. The X-Long version is properly long - I'm a large unit and sling my plank low: most long straps.... Well... Aren't! This one is much longer than most - it would go about a foot longer than I need it, so great! The material is good quality and doesn't stretch. Ends are well made and take strap locks fine. Adjuster is plastic, but strong. I've got 4 of em now and will probably buy more. Recommended!

Cheap but OK 3" bass guitear strap
What can I say? It's cheap and cheerful, just a nylon (or whatever) adjustable 3" strap.Suits my bass fine. Will adjust to a short length, I'm small and it is not adjusted as short as possible.Does the job at very low cost.

Issues
This is an acoustic guitar strap. I'll be using it on my jumbo acoustic, though I bought it for an electric, but it's way too long. It is marked XL, so I'm not going to underrate it because of that. Just bear in mind that if you buy this for an electric, and you like your guitar in the comfort zone (strings in line with the elbows) then you'll need to be around 6'8. I'm 5'8, and with this strap set on its shortest length, the guitar is down near my waist. Some people play with the guitar down there, and if you're used to that, then you'll probably be okay. I just don't think it makes sense having the guitar low slung. The other slight issue I have is the strapends are very thick an dinflexible - maybe this will make them hardwaring, but from personal experience of having a strap that's over 30 years old and still in perfect working order, there's no need to make the strapends 1/8" thick. Had murder getting my strap locks on... then had to take them back off because the strap was too long. I love 3" straps, and they can be hard to find for a reasonable price, but I don't think this is the best quality strap in the world. But I suppose for this price range these days, it's as good as you'll get.

Excellent
Perfect for how I play as its really low ! Think Dee Dee Ramone!! Longest strap I can find, I've got a few of them now and quality etc is excellent.

Good quality strap, great value for money
I bought this as an emergency replacement for a lost strap that cost almost 3 times as much, but I much prefer it!The extra width makes it more comfortable to wear and it can be quickly and easily adjusted from pretty short to very long. Also it doesn't twist and lose shape, which I've found with other non-leather straps.Highly recommended.

Wide Strap
Good quality, tight on the strap buttons so the guitar it won't jump the strap. Wide and comfortable.

A Very Comfortable Wider Strap!
A good quality utilitarian strap from a respected manufacturer. The strap is wide and very flexible, making it comfortable in use (I play a heavy bass so this is of major importance!). The strap is also easily adjustable and holds that adjustment well. I use this in rehearsal and it is perfect for slipping on and off easily. My only criticism is that the strap, being made of polypropylene does not provide much resistance against any tendancy toward nose-diving, if you have a head heavy guitar as I do then this strap provides little relief against this. This is the only reason for 4 stars not 5.
