Ignore the negative comments - I can honestly say I’m incredibly impressed with this safe - it’s far exceeded my expectations and is robust, decent size, portable and best of all fire proof. I’m thinking of buying a 2nd one as a gift.

A good substantial fire safe. Will fit A4 size if paper is put in rolled or curled, but not flat.

Had this now for a few weeks and seems to be doing what it is meant to do. Just don't expect it to protect valuables from burgularies etc as it could be forced open....maybe a safe is a solution there if needed![X] As some others have said it can be a bit troublesome inserting the key; I agree but isn't really a negative point to the item overall.[X] When opening/closing make sure to lean a little weight down using your hand on the opening area before using the latch. It makes easier and does mention this in the instructions - guess if ignoring this a lot might result in wearing out the latch.[X] Some people mentioned white powder when they opened theirs for the first time. Made me suspicious at first however I read from the manufacturer as a piece of mind this is normal due to shifts and bumps during transportation (just the concrete inside).I do hope it does what it says for fire and flood protection although I'd rather not have to want to let that happen for real!My verdict is I'd recommend this if you are picky like me browsing similar products and carefully reading reviews etc.

Pleased with this box, obviously I have not tested it, and hope I shall never have to, but it seems sturdy and fit for purpose, Seems very good value. Five stars Recommended

A solid heavy fireproof box. A4 size inside is a close fit so can’t store docs in even a tight fitting doc sleeve without them curling up slightly at the edges but thats ok.Worth remembering this is a fireproof/waterproof box and not a safe as some reviewers seem to expect it to be so lock is quite flimsy and is only meant to keep box closed in the event of fire/ flood and not to keep thieves out.No idea how it performs in a fire and don’t want to find out but docs are going to last longer in this than if they are not.A good product in my view just wish inside was a touch bigger.

Need to ahve a box for critical stuff these days, and this fits the bill pretty well. Price good.

I put important documents inside this case and then closed it without locking. A month later, I tried to open it but the handle wouldn't budge. I put the key in to turn it (in case I had mis-remembered whether or not I'd locked it) but it wouldn't turn. I kept wiggling it and nothing happened, so I left it. I returned a week later and tried again but now the key was stuck in the lock and wouldn't turn or come out! I had to get a pair of plyers to pull it out which worked. But the handle still is completely stuck - I pulled it open and the handle pulled right off! To be clear, I am a small person who is not at all very strong, so I wasn't pulling hard. Now, I am left with no way to access the important stuff inside! Unbelievable, completely nightmare.
