RedmondEarthpaste - Natural Non-Fluoride Toothpaste, 4 Ounce Tube (1 Pack, Peppermint)

This paste is perfect if you find that foaming toothpastes make you gag, or if the strong mint flavour in conventional toothpastes burns your mouth. (Like me!) The flavour is pleasant and minty without that horrid burning.Within a week of using this my seriously bleedy gums have healed and now there is no more blood. I use mine with an electric toothbrush, and prefer to spread the paste onto my teeth with a clean finger first, of course this isn't necessary. I also noticed that a large abscess that I've had for months now has gone down. -Of course I do not recommend this as a treatment, always go to a dentist for oral problems.As far as the actual cleaning properties go, I find this works just as well as a normal toothpaste, and the lack of foam allows you to feel around with your tongue for spots you may have missed, therefore improving your brushing technique.One thing I will say though, is that the packaging states that there may be traces of lead in the paste and for this reason I choose to spit it out after brushing. This lead is naturally occurring in the clay and as far as I'm concerned possible traces of lead are less dangerous than the large amounts of fluoride purposely put into normal toothpastes. However it is important for everyone to make their own informed choices about the products they use.

I could literally cry. I have the most stupidly sensitive teeth; even Sensodyne, Colgate Pro-relief etc. hurt me. This felt INCREDIBLE on my teeth. It may sound ridiculous but my teeth were honestly ruining my life ; they just hurt so much no matter what I did. I am so grateful i've found this <3 And it tastes incredible, better than any high street brand in my opinion!! People giving it negative reviews because its brown, man up!! Are you kidding me?! It's a completely natural product what do you expect?!!! I'll take this any day than that highstreet cr**p blerghhh!!! And people giving bad reviews because of the price; you knew how much it cost when you bought it! Don't buy it and just stick to Colgate if you think it's too expensive! For people like me who can't use normal toothpastes this is a great investment and worth every penny! People pay far more for make-up or to get their nails done...and I can think of view things more important than oral health <3 So happy would buy again in a heartbeat.

Good natural product. Didn't find that it doesn't foam a problem, in fact I prefer it doesn't. Can't seem its improved my teeth, but had no teeth problems from using it. Enjoyed the flavour, not as strong as normal toothpaste and didn't last as long, for some this maybe good.Would buy again, although wish it was cheaper

I really wanted to like this toothpaste as it's natural and contains no fluoride, but I just couldn't get past the fact that a) it's brown, and b) it doesn't foam at all, so I found it really difficult to clean my teeth with it. The taste is just Ok, but spitting brown residue into the sink isn't pleasant. I also didn't like the tiny hole in the cap that you're supposed to squeeze it through - it made it look like a bird had done something unpleasant on my toothbrush, and also it easily falls off the brush and into the sink. Will be going back to my other non-fluoride brand, which I much prefer.

We have been using this product for over a year. Love that I have finally been able to find a toothpaste that is truly 'natural' and does not contain any chemicals of which their use in dental care is, at best, not proven. This product contains xylitol, one of the few (the only?) substance that is proven to prevent cavities.The paste is clay-based and thus brown-grey in colour. While brushing it doesn't foam, since it doesn't contain foaming agents (which is good ;-). We find however that it has a nice feel in the mouth, not even that dissimilar in structure to conventional tooth pastes. We use the peppermint flavour and think it tastes lovely: both soft and refreshing, not an annoying hash freshness, if this makes any sense.The tube may perhaps seem pricy to some, but we used 1 tube for a whole year (2 persons using it, brushing once a day).We noticed no difference in our dental health. We were both free of cavities and have stayed so.

Lovely toothpaste! This is exactly was I was looking for. Keeps teeth and gums healthy. Also it has lovely fresh taste. My kids love it and their teeth have never been as white as now. For people panicking about tiny amount of lead in it - many whole foods do contain small amount of naturally occurring lead, which has been there for millions of years. It is the same with apple seeds containing cyanide - many will warn you not to eat it and yet cultures, which consume apples with seeds or use whole apples without removing seeds have much lower ration of certain types of cancer (if not all) and other sicknesses... so please educate yourself before you start panicking. I wish it was available on Subscribe and Save.

I am not sure if I am a fan of Earth Paste, it does leave your mouth feeling very clean but it is such a different experience as it doesn't foam etc... I suppose it takes some getting used to. Redmond RealSalt as a seller were great, nothing to complain about.
